Yes, and it drives me crazy! The insides of your nose and sinuses get raw from allergies or infections or just irritation.

I've found something really simple to provide relieve. Not complete and total relief, but it helps, and if you keep it up it prevents it from being so bad in the future.

Saline solution (Salt water). I'm not sure why, but it's very soothing to raw sinus tissues. You can buy it in squirt bottles from the pharmacy to spray up your nose. My cousin insists that making your own with sea salt makes a difference and is more soothing, but I haven't tried her way.

But you can also do this thing that seems gross, but really helps even more than just the saline sprayed in your nose.

You turn your head upside down when you use the saline and let it run into your sinuses. (Feels very weird the first times you do it.) I lie over the side of my bed on my back with my head hanging down over the side. Fill your nose with the stuff and let it stay as long as you can stand it (breath through your mouth.) Of course you'll need a handful of tissues or a wash cloth because what goes in must come out!

I didn't do this until one time it got so bad I was willing to try anything- and it really did help.
