I have blepharitis mainly in one eye. I know that this is a result of having alot of indoor allergies (Which means i have allergies year round). My eyelids are ALWAYS red and this blepharitis never goes away. Ive had it for so long now that i don't know what if feels like to be without it. I have already tried cleaning it with one of those cotton sticks. I have done this for about 2 weeks and no results. What should i try to pursuit now to get this blepharitis down? And am I always going to have this, cause I've had it for so long and it doesn't go away? Also why do i have blepharitis mainly in one eye instead of the other?

I seem to have developed an intolerance to shell fish in the last year. Now when I eat it I get a stomach ache about 2 hours after and it lasts about 2 hours. What can I take to help me not get a stomach ache? I live on an island in the Caribbean which is why this is a major issue!!

His mouth doesn't break out when he eats raw or roasted nuts from a container, just when they're cooked in something such as a pie. He especially has problems with walnuts.

My wife and I are both allergic to shellfish. Should we be concerned that our kids would be allergic as well? I don't want to put the kids through the stress of allergy testing if it isn't absolutely necessary. Kids + lots of little needles = really unhappy kids.

I recently developed hives and it became apparant that everytime I used the Ivory Lavender Dish Soap I was having a reaction. I usually only by the Dove Lavender Dish Soap and I grabbed the wrong soap about 2 weeks ago and didn't realize it until 2 days ago. They started marketing Ivory in an almost identical container. Well, I virtually eliminated all other items - food and chemical that I might have reactions to out of my life one at a time and the soap was the last to go. Last night = No Hives and still going. So, with the process of elimination out of the way, it appears the soap was the culprit. I have never been allergic to anything chemical in my life and do not have any food allergies as well. I find this remarkably strange and as I tried to look up the chemicals off the MRSP list, the only being ethanol alchol, which means they are not listing everything in the product, I cannot figure out which chemical in causing the problem....argh! Time to go organic with my cleaners now!

At church Sunday they added red gels to some of the stage lights. The longer I sat under them the sicker I felt. My eyes hurt and I got very nauseas. I had to go home early. I've had a sensitivty to red light since childhood. Any ideas what causes this and isis uncommon?

I've had hives for about 2-3 weeks now and they are making me really exhausted. I am 100% confident they came as a delayed hypersensitivity to Amoxycillin I was taking for strep throat as the doctor explained to me. Anyway, I was on prednisone for the first week and it looked like they were completely gone, but then they came back and I'm back on prednisone. If I understand correctly, I'll have hives until the Amoxycillin is out of my system. Has anyone else had experience with this? How long did it take?

They don't itch that much at all, but I do notice being really exhausted at times (which isn't a surprise since the doctor said they take quite a toll on the body).

Whenever I drink certain beers my lips get swollen and very red. Is that normal, or a possible allergy? What is it in the beer that causes it?

When I take shots this does not happen, so it cannot be the alcohol.

Friends, I have a friend who is saying to me that she is allergic to eggs, beef, sea food and chicken. She says that only meat she can eat is pork. If she eats other than that, her skin shows some allergic reaction. Can this be cured? She says that her father and brother had it but after taking some eastern medicine, they were ok and can eat anything now. Is this something to do with liver (Because doctors have said to her that it is something to do with liver)? Any comments? Also she didn't have this when she was small. She got it recently as 1 year back

1. Can this be cured?
2. Can liver affect skin?
3. Why cannot eat beef, eggs and etc?

I'm a professional singer(meaning I get paid to do gigs) and I've found that the more I sing, the more stuffy my nose becomes. After awhile, I have to blow my nose it gets so bad and then I start the process all over again. Am I not singing properly from my diaphram, or could it be something wrong with my sinuses?

i initially had allergies with seafood... then after my boyfriend and i got together, after about a year, he had allergies with seafood also... (allergies, like if i eat seafood, i get itchy all over... now, it happens to him also)..

i thought, maybe it's because of the transfer of bodily fluid when we have sex...

well, i was just curious
