Having had problems with this in the past, my doc put me on Augmentin (a powerful antibiotic), Claritin and Prednazone (a steroid) for 60 days. Haven't had a problem in 10 years +.

The most effective treatment is using a netti pot to clean the sinuses. Also use a good multivitamin that is well absorbed by your body and a good antioixdant supplement to help eliminate this all together. Do see your doc for antibiotics if you think you have a case of sinusitis/sinus infection going on currently.
