My 5 yr old daughter is allergic to dairy, eggs, peanuts and treenuts. I was wondering if anyone out there has taken their child to Disneyland and if you had luck with the chefs making safe meals for your kids. I would like to take her to Ariel's Grotto and wonder if anyone has had experiences with them there. I would really like to take her there, but it wouldn't be worth it if she became ill.

I have never been with my child but I visit a website called peanutallergy.com and have seen this subject talked about before. I would feel safe taking my child there. I will give you a link to the message boards. I have learned a lot there! You can look in the travel section and/or do a search on there. (upper right corner) Good luck!

I clicked in to see the question. I don't have this experience but there should be a web site or phone number for this to help you. Do you know what hotel you'll be staying in or is this a restaurant in the park that you'll be going to....It might be worth it to just pack what you need for her and take it with you in a thermal bag.
My sister and I have been seeing a Certified Nutritional Therapist and we are improving and eating things we thought were gone forever.....Best of luck...

I outgrew that hypersensitive reaction in my 20's. specific, you are able to 'outgrow' allergic reactions. i'm 50 and my nutrition allergic reactions started on the age of 5. approximately 8 years in the past, I ate some BBQ sauce that i did not understand had lemon in it. i complete up interior the well being facility for 3 days! A word of warning: Many commerically arranged meals would have ingredients not indexed on the label. by regulation, the manufacturers do not would desire to record an ingredient decrease than 2% by quantity! Lemon replace into not indexed on the label of BBQ sauce, yet after investigating it, i found out that express certainly it did have lemon, yet an rather small quantity..........too small to record on the label!

well you know you could contact them , and tell them what she can not have, and that u would like to bring her there, but will not if she can not eat there safely. I am sure when you go in to eat , if you tell them what she cannot eat or have, then they will make sure that she does not get it, even the smallest places to eat in little towns, cities, do that ,so i do not know why Disneyland would not do it too, cause there are a lot of people that can not have certain food, and that. You do need to tell them though when you first go into order.
