Can a pediatrician determine whether or not my children have been exposed to mold? Or if they are allergic to mold? Our apartment has visible signs of mold and ive told the apartment owners already.

I was sick about a month ago and i still seem to be producing a lot of mucus. Every morning i have to cough up a loogie or blow my nose, it gets really annoying. Sometimes even the mucus gets stuck in between my throat and my voice starts going away or gets deeper and i have to cough or clear my throat. What can i do?

Just wondered if anybody could be of any help with this question as I cant find any answers on the net. When I drink alcohol and go into the fresh air or after I have been in fresh air I get a bout of sneezing fits. Ranging from 5-15 in a row. Then I get a build up in my throat that causes me to spit out. I have noticed red in the spit. This doesnt happen all the time and its just the once that I get this during the evening. I have no pains or aches so i'm confused as to what it can be as it doesnt happen all the time either. I don't know if its linked but I have swelling around my abdominals on the left. The doc said it was fatty tissue though caused when I have a flu type virus. Anyway any help will be appreciated :-)

Lately, whenever I have wine, the skin on my arms, chest, & neck get blotchy and itchy. This starts after half a glass....is this an allergy? I'm almost 28 and have never had this problem before. I've never been a heavy drinker, but I used to be able to tolerate 2-3 glasses without any problems.

My scratch test showed positives for ragweed, histamine and mite P and mite F. I understand the first two, but what are these mites? Are they both dust mites? I can't find any further info.

Today my allergies blew up really bad. Itchy eyes, uncontrollable sneezing, majorly congested. The worst part is the inside of my throat itches. What can I do about that? Aside from taking medicine.

I was doing yard work three days ago and was around poison ivy. Though I didn't think much about it at the time, I now have the rash. The itching is minimal right now and I am using poison ivy meds that I got in the drug store. I just want to know how long it will last if I don't scratch it? And will it spread?

I am super allergic to cats and I am going to another state to visit my future mother-in-law and she has cats.

What can I take that won't make me drowsy? Something over the counter, as I do not have time to get a prescription.

And what else can they do to help me out?
They aren't going to go out and buy a hepa filter or anything, so something inexpensive.

I had no food allergies growing up (I'm now 27), but yesterday and today I had a reaction from something in my Chicken Salad. The reaction was worse the second day. I took Benadryl and it helped. If I have developed a new allergy, how do i find out what I'm specifically allergic to? Any input would be appreciated
