The best way to cope with hay fever is to get rid of it so it never bothers you again - ever!
People with hay fever are having an abnormal reaction to something that is normal for most other people. The reason for this is that their DNA has mutated and is allowing certain genes to express that react to various pollens. DNA Reprogramming addresses this problem by downloading new software into the body which the body than installs. After this the mutated DNA is corrected, the genes stop expressing and the pollens no longer cause symptoms of hay fever. As strange as it may sound that's what really happens.
I had hay fever when I was eight and received those stupid allergy shots and nasal decongestants. Doesn't it strike you as odd that with all the advances in technology of the past 50 years allergies are still treated the same way by Western Medicine. That doesn't make any sense, does it? Look at how much technology has advanced over the past 50 years. It's staggering. Yet the typical 'medical' treatment for an allergy, which is what Hay Fever IS - hasn't changed one iota.
If you want to get rid of your hay fever find one of the thousands of practitioners who are practicing what are known as allergy elimination techniques. Most of these work although I must comment that one of the most known ones called NAET is not very sophisticated.

I used to have lots of problems with hayfever. Over the counter drugs did not help enough.
Finally I went to an allergist and had desensitation shots. My hayfever is almost gone now. I am not housebound in August and September. The shots lasted nine years and they took five years before they really helped. It has now been five years since I had any shots and I still reap the benefits.

I'm a fellow sufferer. I take antihistamine tablets every morning and I also use opticrom eyedrops, this helps with any itching. I keep my drops in the fridge and normally have some in my bag.
Last spring I bought an air purifier for my bedroom, which i turn on at night, this has helped a lot. If all else fails and i'm having a bad time, I normally have a cold wet flannel, put it across my eyes and lie down in a dark room - windows closed. This normally does the trick!

I have very severe allergies and they only way to treat them is move to the desert or use medication. Depending on how severe it is, first try an over the counter med like loratadine which more commonly marketed as Claritine. It doesn't make you drowsy but is pricier than the other ones like Benadryl. If you still have symptoms, go to a doc and get a prescription for Zyrtec. It is much more effective. Oh, and consider buying an air purifier or ionizer for your room. It'll get rid of the pollen and dust in the air and are fairly cheap at Walmart.

Go to your GP and get some medication from him, they will give you anti histamines and if you need it a nasal spray and something for your eyes. I'm having mine treated under the allergy clinic at the hospital this year but hopefully next year they'll put me on the desensitization programme which I know isn't nice but if it takes the hayfever away I'm willing to try, if I forget one of my medications my symptoms are terrible

You can get tablets for it over the counter in any chemist or your doctor can prescribe ones. If it is severe your doctor can give you an injection once a year. You only get the injection if tablets don't work.
