on the left side of my nose it is really red... i dont know what it is but it has been there for a few years?

it sometimes times peels and it never goes away.. its on the left side of my nostril

No offense, but after a FEW YEARS, ARE YOU NUTS? (yes, I was yelling at you). Go to an ear ~ nose ~ and throat doctor as soon as possible. (I'm a mom, and I yell at my kids the same way)
