My 3 year old is allergic to sunscreen, we have tryed many different brands and SPF formulations. She breaks out in a rash whenever we put it on her (its a bad rash too, resembles hives and lasts for a day or so). I cant not let her outside, so I need to find something that would help. Any suggestions?

I have almost one week using Clinique 3-steps line, cleanser, toner and moisturizer, and also a uv protector. since i started using that, i been experiencing a break out in my T-zone, and a kind of allergy in my neck, like a heat rash, i don't know if a should stop using the products, or its just until i get used to using the products. I have to use the product twice a day, that is what the rule says. But i don't know if stop it or just use it once a day.
Please help!!

My friend has just found out that she has an allergy to Gluten. I am having a bit of a get together at my house this week and want to provide some nibbles to go with the wine. I don't want to make my friend feel as though I am going to trouble for her but want to make sure that she has something to eat. What can I prepare that we will all be able to eat without it being specifically "gluten free" i.e shop bought gluten free?

I was just wondering where I can find info on bread allergies. If they even exist. Like particulary what the symptoms might be? Both my mother and I have problems when I ever we eat bread. I myself get a stuffy nose after eating bread and a phelghmy throat. She always sneezes. I said to her maybe we're allergic to bread. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Desperate after three sleepless nights due to furious itching from sandfly bites, I found a reference on the net from a man who applied a candle flame to his bites and got instant relief. I didn't do anything that dangerous but used my hairdryer - just held it to the site that was itching and kept it there for as long as I could bear it. It worked!!!!!

I then remembered that when I had eczema as a kid, it was relieved for a while by holding my hands under a very hot tap. (Of course the symptoms always came back because the cause of the eczema was still there.)

Just interested - any science buffs out there who know why this might work?

My cats eat corn, tomatoes, and applesauce. I have heard that cats cannot digest fructose-type sugars found in fruits and other plant foods. is this bad for them?

After a walk through the park this morning, I know it's going to be a rough couple of months. I plan on buying antihistamines later today but what else can you suggest to combat spring allergies. I love being outside so don't tell me to stay in. Also anything for inside my apartment?

My 7 year old daughter has mild asthma, which is for the most part under control, and she has horrible allergies. Especially right now, she's miserable. I've given her Benadryl, but it doesn't help. She can't take the prescription medications like Claritan and Singulair because she has had bad reactions to those medications. She can use Flonase, and it helps some, but during bad seasons, like now with all of the pollen, nothing helps. Does anyone know of some safe, natural remedies we could try? (Of course I won't put her on anything before I ask her Dr. so please don't chastise me about that point.)

I've had this cough for the last week or so, but I don't feel poorly otherwise, so I don't think I'm sick. The cough seem to result from moisture scratching the back of my throat. I've never had seasonal allergies before, but I've heard that they can develop over time.
