I have been getting these absesses for about 3 years and im not sure why. i have went to the doctor and they ct them open and drain them but they keep coming back in different areas. I have changed to only using antibacterial soap to wash my whole body. I always wash my hands and the areas where they occur. About a month ago I had one drained and they put me on Sulfameth/trimethoprim 800/160 tabs. Now the same area has ripped open into a perfect circle like hole and blood and gunk is seeping out. It hurts pretty bad but i am sick of going to the doctor because they keep doing the same thing and evidently its not working. Please I hope someone has some advice. Thank You

This is seriously freaky. Last night I was wiping my hand across my face when I nearly retched. My fingers - or skin, rather - had this really strong smell of roast chicken - that pungent smell that reminds you of a slimy drumstick. ugh. I washed my hands immediately with soap, and - get this - smell all gone. Until about ten minutes later when it came back!
This has gone on for a whole day now. I have scrubbed, perfumed - everything - and the smell keeps coming back. Only the four fingers on my right hand. I am right-hand dominant. And before anybody asks, no, I haven't eaten chicken in a while. I have googled and googled and no luck.
Please help. It's freaking me out and I REALLY hate the smell of chicken. It is one thing if nobody knows what it is - it's another if it's only me and I would have to start wondering am I going bananas!

Okay, I've tried soo many deoderants. i will be doing absolutly NOTHING, will just sit there in class, not nervous or anything, just content, relaxed etc. and we have an air conditioned school. and somehow, i still have wet marks underneath my arms. i dont get it!

but the BIGGER question is, since i've gotten the above issue settled down for as well as it'll get.......WHITE MARKS. mmmk, ik this question has been asked a lot too, but i'm going to list a few things.
Right now i'm using degree ultra clear. the deo. says little black dress approved, and up till the time i bought another stick of deoderant, that appeared to be true.



anyways, i want to know the BEST brand of deoderant that doesnt leave white marks, and reduces sweat, then the problem above wont happen either.


i've tried
-Degree Ultra Clear(presently using)
-Sure - didnt work
-secret, but that was awhile ago, and i have some of that and it seems to work good, cept for the white marks..
-i forget..

I had a abccess (not sure how to spell it sorry) and I had it drained. I have a really weak immune system so I am subject to get all sorts of infections. I was on sulfameth/trimethoprim 800/160tabs. Now about a month later in the same spot the area seems to have a hole and blood is seeping out. I am sick of going to the doctor because they tend to do the same old thing and its not helping. Does anyone know what causes these infections, why my skin is tearing into a hole, and what I should do? Please HELP.

Sorry this may sound disgusting.... but green foods make me gag. I can't eat lettuce, green beans, peas, artichokes, etc. Do they all contain a similar "ingredient"? Could it be an allergy?

my ears where my earrings are are messed up. it's like they get blood blisters behind my ear...and every so often they pop. my ears don't hurt at all....i've been cleaning my ears with hydrogen peroxyde too. is there any way i can save my ears without letting the holes close up???

well yesterday i was at the mall and when i went to a store all of a sudden my hands started getting very itchy and it was painful then they started getting VERY swollen and red. this is the first time it happens to me but that usually happens to my sister when she goes to a big store(especially department stores) and as soon as she gets out the itch stops and the swelling start goings away...so my question is...Am i allergic to something that is in the store? or to dirty things?

The old pacemaker caused a sever drop in blood pressure. Since a new one was put in, the blood pressure has been high (147/92). Could this be caused by the new pacemaker? The last doctor that checked said only one chamber was working of the 2 chamber pacemaker. The technician said nothing was wrong.?????

I often hear from people I know and meet about their allergy prick test expirience. All of them have told me that they had the allergy prick test done on their back. However, when I look up photos of allergy prick test on the internet most of the photos show the test is often done on the right forearm and occaisionally the left forearm. When exactly do they do the allergy prick test on the forearm instead of the back?

I was wondering if anyone has a ICD that was recently recalled. Mine was one of them but the doctors havent done anything. I talked with them the day after I found out about it and that was it! Now 3-4 weeks have passed and I havent heard anything and Im scared my ICD wont work!

Last week, I, sadly, ate too much... and felt very bloated and gross. Well, for the past year or so.. I've had a gassy stomach. Sometimes it just feels like a flutter, etc. I've learned to be careful about what I eat... but still! Around that time, I also drank a lot of lemonade (big trigger food for me) and Coke... so lots of acid.

All weekend, I felt sick. I felt full quickly, very bloated, general muscle pain in my side/abs, and I was quite gassy :(. I am still feeling that way.. slight indigestion, etc. And it's really... aggravating.

Is this just a case of acid reflux, maybe? Indigestion? Cancer? I'm a hypochondriac, so any advice/help is welcome ;).

I started having this really sharp pain on the left side of my chest. It is a really sharp pain and it takes my breath away!! I Went to the ER this morning and they did a bunch of blood work and some x-rays but they said that they didn't see anything and that they did't know what was wrong! They gave me some pai med'and fluids through an IV and then i went home!! I AM STILL HURTING AND NOW MY BODY IS SHAKING!! Iwas wondering if anyone knew what was wrong!!

I am only 17 years old and i am a pretty healthy female my only health problems are that i am severly anemic and i have a severe iron deficiency!! I am not overweight anh i eat pretty healthy!! Any Ideas what this might be??

could this have anything to do with my anemia and low iron!!

My husbnad snores as loud as a Dinosaur !!
He does not have any symptoms of Sleep Apnea and we have tried Everything available in the pharmacy .
Nothings has helped..........can someone recommend something please !!

I am 29 years old, my blood sugar levels have elevated. I am Overweight, and have no high blood preasure, no high cholestorol...nothing but high blood sugar, my dr says i have diabetes i saw him this past friday, he gave me glipizide....i wanna try to do this without medicine...when i wake in the am it ranges from 160-200.....after i go to the gym in th am it drops to around 140..150.....after i eat it hits about 160..i check 2 hrs after...is this diabetes, pre- diabetes.....gimme some help here guys. as of 11/16 i started a strict dient, workout, and i cut out all soda and junk i was putting in my body. im already down 3 lbs in just 3 days..so im happy....but nervous about my sugar levels.....any ideas or advice?

If you've taken all the different tests for heart disease ie: stress test, ekg, blood work up, cat scans, etc. and all have come back negative (thank goodness!) what can be causing the tightness in the chest or shortness of breath, etc. Can this be just a figment of my imagination (I'm sure the Dr. thinks I'm a lunatic by now)...Thank you for your responses in advance. I want to stay healthy. Colon cancer is only one of many things that could eventually afflict an otherwise healthy individual. What other screening tests are recommended for people over 50?

My only risk factors I can think of are the fact my father had a minor bout of melanoma that he was completely cured of, and my mother had lung cancer and died of leukemia. My mother was a lifelong smoker, though, and the docs think the leukemia which occurred suddenly before her death was the result of years of chemotherapy. Thanks for any input.
