Yes and no.
Most baldness is caused by genetic baldness pattern. It's called male pattern baldness, but it can affect women as well. This can happen in your early 20's, or in later years.
Baldness can also be caused by skin conditions that affect the hair follicle.
Baldness can also be caused by drugs. Chemo is famous for making you bald, but there are other drugs out there that do it as well.
Alot of women lose hair (but usually don't go completely bald) after they deliver a baby, due to sharp decreases in hormone levels in their bodies.
There are lots of causes, only your doctor can tell you for sure what's going on.

Yes. Yes it is. It generally affects men at middle age i.e. in their forties however baldness can affect even the youngest of men and for some reason (unknown as of yet to scientist) bouncers and bodyguards seem to be particularly susceptible to its devastating effects.

There are several cures for this horrific disease however some are much more effective than others. I would personally recommend a product called 'Just for Men'. As misleading as the name is, women suffering from baldness may also use this product.

every morning that i wake up it feels like it ....lol.... but is not an illness,but rather is a way that God gets back at you for partying too much and having too many women at a young age......at least in my case..lol..... but is not as bad as you think and i actually get more dates now because no one can figure out what i am..... i am puerto rican one night , itialian another, mixed with black on weekends , and when i go into a stop&go i become middle eastern my friends....

Nope, it is a gentic condition, not an illness. It is not something that can threaten your health, only your pride...
