Last week, I, sadly, ate too much... and felt very bloated and gross. Well, for the past year or so.. I've had a gassy stomach. Sometimes it just feels like a flutter, etc. I've learned to be careful about what I eat... but still! Around that time, I also drank a lot of lemonade (big trigger food for me) and Coke... so lots of acid.
All weekend, I felt sick. I felt full quickly, very bloated, general muscle pain in my side/abs, and I was quite gassy :(. I am still feeling that way.. slight indigestion, etc. And it's really... aggravating.
Is this just a case of acid reflux, maybe? Indigestion? Cancer? I'm a hypochondriac, so any advice/help is welcome ;).

Ginger helps aid in digestion so ginger tea is good for stomach problems. Also another good thing for your tummy is peppermint. You can use either peppermint candy, peppermint leaves, peppermint tea etc etc. I just recently had some stomach problems of my own and once I drank one glass of peppermint tea my stomach cleared up. Sometimes people have upset stomaches because of bacteria in the digestive system. You can try to take acidophilus and that will help balance the bacteria in your stomach. You can get it over the counter at most pharmacies. If all of that fails then you can try to take Axid AR. It's helped me tremendously when I have a stomach ulcer that flairs up. I would recommend that you try to natural stuff first because Axid cuts off the acid supply to your stomach and can make digestion take longer. Best of luck.

This could be something very simple as too much over indulgence or it could mean that you have something like irritable bowel syndrome.
My advice (and I am not a professional) would be to try some antiacid tables (they are only chalk so they will not do any harm) or some milknmagnesia (found in a chemist or supermarket). These should settle the acid and calm the stomach.
If this becomes common with certain foods, try to avoid those foods, sometimes its different combinatioins of foods.
If you are still unsure after a couple of days, visit a walk-in centre or go to visit a doctor.
Good Luck :)

Could be a million things; all I can do is tell you what happened to work for me, which is an important thing to tell, because doctors haven't really got it yet that a lot of people can't really digest wheat. I was one of those people who takes Prevacid or Prilosec every day and carries around Tums and is still in pain every day, sometimes incapacitating pain. My cousin has always had the same thing; we inherited it from our grandfather. I've spent thousands and thousands on prescriptions, doctor's appointments, scopies of one kind or another, tests... no doctor ever told me to try to stop eating wheat gluten, but someone did tell my cousin that. They put her on an elimination diet, and when they eliminated wheat gluten, her symptoms disappeared. I knew it would work for me, and now it has been about five months, I've been symptom free. Wheat gluten is actually an adaptation "designed" to be undigestible so the plant can reproduce. Most people don't have serious problems with it, but it isn't the easiest thing for human guts to deal with. But for some people, it is a serious problem. So try elimination diets. Try going gluten-free. Try dairy-free. But as I said, could be a lot of things.

Take an acid reducing agent, such as Maalox or Mylanta. As for the gas, try a Gas-X or product with Simethicone in it. If it persists for more than a week, go see your MD. This sounds like a dietary issue, an should be fixed by adding more fibe and less acidic foods.

I would suggest you make an appt. with a GI doctor. If this has been going on for the past year or so with you then it is time to get yourself checked out. It could be IBD or a number of things, which could be easily taken care of with the correct medication. Good Luck to you.

This sounds more to me like a gall bladder problem, although it could be an ulcer. Both are easily treated, but you really need to see a GI specialist and get it looked at.

you would likely benefit from taking a probiotic on a daily basis, like acidophilus. Suggest you get some at your local supplement store.
