i've had a history of kidney stones and kidney infections. i get a lot of nagging pains in my kidneys that only last for about 2-3 a few times a day. i always thought they were kind of like "phantom" pains or just normal if you've had kidney stones or something. could there actually be something wrong with my kidneys?

I am suffering from symptoms, that are causing me great pain. my symptoms are: burning in my hands and feet, my legs, and arms. Numbness in fingers, stiffness in hands, difficulty walking, ripping feeling in hands. This has been going on for a month. I know what it is NOT: reflex sympathetic dystrophy, diabetes, lupus, lyme disease, anxiety,depression, the doctors do not think it is autoimmune, inflamatory,or something wrong with the nervous system. the rheumatologist believes told me it is due to stress and basically without actually saying the words, told me i was going crazy. i know my body and i do not believe it is RSD. please if these symptoms sound familiar and aren't i mention please tell me. I just turn 17, and i have miss a month of school. this is very diabilating. I just want my normal life back. I am open to any ideas. thank you very much.

I had my cololn removed 10-07-05 thought I had cancer I went back to work 1-3-06 go to bathroom 10-15 times a day stop working 12-31-06. filed for ss disabilty turned down first 2 times am waiting to see judge. I have not worked in 11 months will I be approved for the disabilty? thanks

Right now im gong through the hardest time of my life, my dad has cancer and is very sick, im just in the wierdest position right at this moment like I dont know what to do or how to cope. Im 23, so its hard to understand why this is happening and what can I do? I almost feel like my life is at a stop, and I cant do anything, as it is just so hard to work and do normal thaings day to day. Im not sure how to do everything like carry on with my job to pay bills etc, it just doesnt seem worth it anymore. Any helping suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Since I was 7 years old. Now I'm 13 and beginning to wonder how I got it if nobody in my family has had it. Well it started when I was 7 and then I threw up one day, and then ever since then, I've had acid reflux.It Just has me puzzled. sorry i know its a gross question. i always see on medicine boxes do not use if you have mucus in your stool? how can you tell? is it fairly obvious? i mean is it the same/ does it look the same as the stuff in your nose? here is why i worry. i am only 26 but am a retired heavy drinker. i know i have burnt the insides of my stomach so i quit earlier than later. just lookin for some info to be aware of. thanks.

first off, please don't give me any DUH answers: smoking is an addiction, so even though someone is aware of the the dangers caused by smoking, it's not that easy.

that being said, any suggestions to help a friend who's trying to quit? it's really important to her, so i want to help in any way i can. i believe she's looking into the patch or the two-step program, but i didn't know if anyone had helped a friend get through this before, successfully. thanks!

I am a twenty year old male, weigh 240 pounds, and play college football. I do not consider myself to be in outstanding shape but I am currently in season so I am assuming that I'm in pretty decent shape. My resting heart rate on an average of 45 beats per minute and I feel like thats too slow for a guy my size. I don't drink often, probably once a week. But when i do drink i drink excessively to the tune of 20 beers a night or more. Also, when i'm drunk i occassionly use spit tobacco. Dont know if that has anyhting to do with it but I figure it doesnt hurt sayin it. I would appreciate it if someone could help me out. Thanks.

I have heard that drinking water helps flush out one's body and help prevent acne. My question would be is if one is not drinking enough water can that cause more breakouts or cause the skin to be irritated?
