I am currently awaiting results from an abnormal colposcopy, and have just discovered a lump in my breast.

I am completely knackered with what i thought might be a chest infection and was umming and ahhing about going to my gp about it, when i found the lump yesterday.

As an ex nurse i am of course putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 56!!!

I know no one can give me any difinative answers, but has anyone any experience of multiple cancer sights. I am only 35 and a single mum of 2 children, the thought of questioning my own mortality is very scary.

Unless I am wrong, medicare pays 80% of treatment. How does anyone afford the remaining 20% and not lose everything they've worked for?
What happens when you can't afford it?

They come up sometimes in groups and are very painful. Some never really seem to go away and I have severe scarring. Should I see a Dr about this? If so, any idea on what they will do.

their sick child to the party. She had been out of school all week because of it. She walked around coughing on everyone, and touched everything. We really don't want to get the flu started in our house, but what do you do when things like this happen. We hated to leave and upset the hostess, so we stayed, but don't you think these people should have canceled?

I constantly feel as if my vascular/circulatory system is malfunctioning, or not working well enough. I tire quite easily, little exertion causes my heart to race, and serious exercise causes me nausea, dizziness, and sometimes, vomiting. I feel my blood pumping through me in "shocks" or "waves" every minute or two, like it is struggling.

I also feel thirsty quite constantly.

I smoke and drink, but besides those two things, I don't have many bad things I do to myself. I am 20.

What could these things mean? I'm constantly uncomfortable because of them, and I fear they mean something worse will follow.

I had a radiofrequency ablation for AV node re entry in 2005. I have palpitations, but am not able to flip into re entry anymore. I get freaked out now when I can feel my heart palpating. I usually take a couple deep breaths. Do you know anything about this. Do you think I will ever need a pacemaker down the road because of my AV node revision? How do people know they need a pacemaker? Do they pass out? I go see the heart MD in 2 months.
Please dont answer if you dont know anything about this stuff. No guessers or wannabeees.

I have always been the type of person who has low blood pressure and a low heart rate, but for the past two weeks my pulse has been way over 100, highest was 190 (beats a minute), and my blood pressure has been really high, 189/118, i am always nauseaus, dizzy, and light headed, and when i lay on my stomach with my head above my chest, i lose my hearing, like when your ears pop. I dont know what is going on i have been to two different ER's and both doctors were unable to tell me what was wrong...all they said was they didnt know what was going on. Im just hoping that there is someone out there who can tell me something about what is wrong with me. :/

I am 30 and have had high blood pressure since I was pregnant 4 years ago. I eat healthy - low salt, low saturated fat, lots of fruits and veggies, lean meat and whole grains. I exercise every day. I am thin, not overweight. I am not unusually stressed out, I'm happy with my life and not having any problems - just day-to-day annoyances. I have had some blood tests done and they were normal. I've tried several medications and nothing seems to be working to lower it. Are there any younger people out there with high blood pressure - and what caused it? I would like to know if anyone has a disease or condition that causes high blood pressure that I can rule out or test for. I just want to make sure my Dr. isn't missing anything. THANK YOU!!!!

I have been having episodes of vertigo for going on 10 years now. They happen sporadically, usually once ever 3-4 months. The attacks last for anywhere from 12-24 hours. When I have an attack, I am so dizzy that I cannot stand or walk. I am completely indisposed. All I can do is lie on one side and wait for the dizziness to stop. I have had many tests done, including a CT scan, MRI, blood tests, hearing tests,(however I have perfect hearing), allergy tests. Not one doctor has definitively given me a diagnosis. The attacks are not brought on by sudden head movements. The only indication that I have beforehand is I have a feeling of pressure in one ear. Sometimes, I can't hear very well out of the one ear. Then a day of two later, I have the attack, unless I take a diurectic to relieve water retention and ibuprofen for inflammation. Does anyone else have this problem? I have had doctors tell me that it was Meniere's Disease, migraines, allergies or maybe a neurological disorder. Help!
