I am 30 and have had high blood pressure since I was pregnant 4 years ago. I eat healthy - low salt, low saturated fat, lots of fruits and veggies, lean meat and whole grains. I exercise every day. I am thin, not overweight. I am not unusually stressed out, I'm happy with my life and not having any problems - just day-to-day annoyances. I have had some blood tests done and they were normal. I've tried several medications and nothing seems to be working to lower it. Are there any younger people out there with high blood pressure - and what caused it? I would like to know if anyone has a disease or condition that causes high blood pressure that I can rule out or test for. I just want to make sure my Dr. isn't missing anything. THANK YOU!!!!
