my wife has gone thru the full chemo treatment for breast cancer, and had a masectomy last week.

now the doctor said the pathology test show she has vascular space invasion. she had 6 lymph nodes removed as weell - the chemo killed the cancer in this.
what is the news about this - survival-recurrance-treatment. please give it to us straight, thanks

Ive had an over active thyroid an its all been treated but I do feel like my mind wont sleep always thinking an feel maybe my brain has also become over active is it possible?

So I have an issue with my gallbladder. I get really painful attacks that last 1-5hours!
It doesnt only happen when I eat fatty foods, and when I DO eat fatty foods....nada. I dont think I have stones but 1-2 times a week I will get these awful pains. They keep me from functioning. I will hurt so bad I vommit.

What are some options, other than surgery?
I am making an appt for a gastro-int and would like to know what all to expect at my visit? I want to be prepared to make the most of it and begin ANY kind of treatment.

I am deathly afraid of getting an STD (i'm a virgin) and I know I won't get it from sex. But, I've heard people say you can get some stds just from touching people, hugging, sleeping in the same bed as someone with it. If so, can I get crabs from sitting at a desk where someone with crabs sat at school, using a public toilet seat at school or any public place, etc.? Please help.

It started with a bruise on my bicep about two weeks ago then another two bruises underneath that still haven't healed/gone away. After the bruises came some little red dots, kinda like a rash.

Then, I noticed some yellow blotches/bruises on my chest area.

Then today my girlfriend noticed I had another bruise/blotch on my neck this morning.

I've also developed a pretty heavy cough and some flu-like symptoms.

I also had hay-fever for the first time in my life last week.

Any ideas?

I have never had the flu shot and I haven't gotten sick either. I always heard on the news about, "OMG! Its the flu season! Get your shots before they run out!" I honestly dont understand why so many people worry about getting sick and the hassle of having to get a shot when I just sit home; sickness free. I get the sniffules couple of months but nothing serious. Is this normal? Am I like immune?!

I have just been put onto this by a friend whose studing natural medicines and thought I would share with you all.
I have just been told about a remedy for the following:
Obesity (due to water weight)
Kidney stones
Kidney infections
Bladder infections
Urinry problems or infections
Bloating

All you do is buy corn with the ears on it. Pll the ears back in between the ears & the corn is some stringy things- corn silk. Boil a handful of the silk - I get 2 serves from one peice of corn. Boil for say 2-3 min, then pour into a cup- use a fork to get the silky out and drink... For kidney stones it says to repeat twice a day for 30 days

Easy as that- I had a kidney stone & it really helped me. Obviously if you havent been diagnosed, you should go to a doctor and not just do what I recommend but if you have these probs and have tried other things try this and see...

A few months ago I noticed a couple small fluid bumps a couple inches below my 4 year old sons upper right chest area. last week i noticed another small fluid bump on his nipple. I looked again today, and the small fluid filled bump on his nipple has doubled in size, and now has some more bumps starting to appear on his lower right abdomin area. If it is a just a blister, wouldn't it go away in a short while. He has had a few of these tiny fluid filled blisters for a few months now. They don't seem to be sensitive or anything. jsut worries me in case if it is something I should be worried about... Can't seem to find anything on the net.. please help relieve my worry...

I just was running and Im not super fast but i run about an 11 minute mile. and i wasr running about a 7 minute mile and after a half mile i literally couldnt breathe i wasnt just gasping i was like shaking, dizzy, my stomach was sucking in more and i started panicking and it got worse. i finally got to breathing better but i got home at 550 and its 710 and ive been sitting down and drinking water and im coughing and im still not breathing normally and feel a little dizzy. what can i do???

I have never had allergies to any animals (especially cats, since I've always had a cat my whole life). But recently I get itchy eyes and a dry throat and some sneezing when I'm around my 2 cats. When I leave the room, I feel better. Possible allergies? Can they develop only when pregnant?

Please help me.....I am in shambles. I went to get my yearly physical today. The doctor the did usual, checked my blood pressure, listened to my heart and so on and so forth. He told me that my blood pressure was elevated (134/94). My BP has never been elevated until now. He talked about the South Beach diet and then sent me to do my labs. While waiting to do my labwork the ECG tech came and got me and told me to strip from the waist up and she started to attached these little "stickers" to my chest. The interpretation came out and she sent me on my way. I'm assuming that it was because of my BP being elevated.

Anybody that has experienced this or knows about it please let me know.
