allergic to amoxil!?

i just drank a capsule and i started getting a rash, is it true that milk stops the allergy? any suggestions? please!

no, milk will not stop the allergic reaction, you need to take 25mg of benedryl and get to a doctor, this could progress and get much worse.

Go to the E.R.

Milk isn't going to stop an allergy -- it's a misconception. The calcium in milk can mess up some antibiotic's abilities to fight off infections, making them less effective.

My boyfriend is allergic to it...go to the E.R. they can give you stuff to get rid of it.
