I have never had the flu shot and I haven't gotten sick either. I always heard on the news about, "OMG! Its the flu season! Get your shots before they run out!" I honestly dont understand why so many people worry about getting sick and the hassle of having to get a shot when I just sit home; sickness free. I get the sniffules couple of months but nothing serious. Is this normal? Am I like immune?!

Sometimes the flu presents as an asymptomatic infection - that the person has the infection and can transmit it but either has no symptoms or minimal symptoms. They fight the infection off, of course, but just never notice that they had it.

This is why they chase after health care workers annually to get vaccinated - they don't want an unvaccinated health care worker to get an asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic case of the flu and spread it to the already ill patients.

You have to have gotten the flu. The common cold is caused by the influenza virus. Maybe you got it but didn't realize it because the symptoms were barely noticeable. And if you truly have never had the flu then you've got some type of immunity. Contact the Centers for disease control. You will be the guinea pig to get rid of the sniffles for ever.

Hi! I could begin with the being pregnant experiment if I have been you (if you're feminine that's.. :) Otherwise, there are more than one causes for what this possibly. It honestly sounds extra like a migraine than meals allergy symptoms. It might even be that you've a sinus illness however the signs are being masked throughout the day. Our mind is processing plenty of stimuli every moment throughout the day and as such can "forget about" the discomfort. At night time, much less stimuli, consequently we believe sicker at night time than throughout the day. Feeling bigger within the morning does not consistently imply that you're bigger.

its unusual but not weird.

you have gotten the flu but your immune system took it out before you become symptomatic. you may have even spread it without even knowing it.

you are lucky, consider yourself 'evolved'

that doesnt mean that you may come across a strain that will give you the horrible flu one day. it sucks.
