I'm on my fourth course of chemotherapy, and now a virtual diabetic because of the glucose flushes during and after treatment, and steroids to aid the anti sick treatment. I had pain today after intra venous treatment via my hand and wanted to cry [in private] but no tears just chronic ice cold blue pain behind my eyes.

Ever since I was little, milk gave me diarrhea.
Have you guys heard of worms in the stomach? I think I may just have some worm infection going on. Whenever I drink something real sweet, like Tampico juice, I get these ugly stabbings, like poking sensation, bothersome, in my stomach. It scares me, because I cannot move when I get that sudden pain and it feels as if my stomach is stretching or ripping apart. I went to the doctor and he said it was irritable bowel syndrome. He prescribed Famotidine and they seem to have worked. I also eat a lot of fatening foods, like Carl's Karcher. Also, many of the times, I get this ugly sort of heartburn in my chest, esophagus. Yesterday I was throwing up like crazy and I felt sick, while I also had diarrhea. Did I just go through some food poisening? Stomach infection? How do I get rid of it? I feel like I have a fever. Is it Acid Reflux? Anyone with any similar experiences or symptoms? I have a weak stomach.

Doctors never found out what I had and umm well I am better but i still notice my hands sometimes which go a lil weak curl up when I rest them, and its weird because when i put them up they fine but down it looks weird and people are like you look like you have polio, it makes me feel bad cuz I dont know if it is a habit or what but i realize i do that alot!

I have Orthostatic Hypotention, also known as P.O.T.S. Positional Orthastatic Tachycardia Syndrome. So doing daily living things is hard because my heart races and causes my ears to ring, my vision to go black, my legs to give out and I know I have to lay down before I fall. My family helps the best they can but there are things I still do-scrub the toilets, shower, bath etc. I just want to be able to walk up my stairs without my heart rate going into the 100's. I want to take a shower without a bath seat in case I get week. I can't exercise, I use a walker and I will be 35 next month. There are no medications for this so far since it doesn't really effect the blood pressure-until recently. I know the usuall stuff, counslers, have family help more etc. I am looking for some ways to cope, not get things done.
Any advise would be great.

Ive become a bad liar. My living situation is unhealthy. I live place to place and I havent lived with someone or somewhere for a solid year now. Im depressed and my anxiety is off the wall.

My Brother is 23 and he was diagnosed with testicular cancer, THE EXACT SAME KIND THAT LANCE ARMSTRONG HAD. he went through chemo and it didn't do anything. It had spread to one lymph node before chemo and after the lymph node got bigger and spread 2 another. has anyone had the same thing and it end up working out. The next step is Surgery. 90% chance but no gurantees and what would be the next step? Thanks, The older brother.

I DO NOT smoke, I'm a very healthy person so I guess maybe it's a psychological problem :S

Whenever I go to my university I feel SO suffocated, I can't breath well as if there is no air to breath, I bought HALLS the other day because I couldn't breath well, but despite the refreshment it didn't help me at all.

This problem makes me so intolerant to the lectures, and makes me restless; I keep moving in my place and sigh all the time, and unwilling to make any effort whatsoever.

Once the day ends, all those symptoms suddenly disappear, I feel so energetic and I can breath my soul in :S

You guys feel the same? What can I do to fix this?

my sister has been taking this drug (Roaccutane) for 4 days and as time goes by she gets a new pimple every day in addition she has some on her face moreover her lips get dry recently but I've already known these side effects by reading the note which includes with this drug (Roaccutane) so my question is what's the risks of taking Roaccutane? except of the side effects that has been mentioned aforementioned

lose all my hair!!!
my cancer has returned and i have to get chemo therapy on friday....this means that i will lose all my hair

i have a neighbor who is 31 years old and she told the whole neighborhood that she has esophageal cancer from smoking and drinking. i think she found out in february of this year and had been doing radiation. she said the dr. told her that it was so bad, there was no cure for it and she may not even make it til the end of the year. she was taking radiation in june but i dont know if she still is. now when we see her out, she seems to have gained a lot of weight back and i hear her talking to friends about drinking and wanting to get wasted. i also saw her smoking outside the other day. she told me a few months ago that the dr. told her is she smoked another cigarrette or had a drink it could kill her. my question is this, we are all wondering if she really ever had cancer. she is the type of person who lies about alot of things.can someone who has this type of cancer just get over it and start back smoking that fast ?? can anyone help with this question ??

I was eating at a sandwich place and I had roast beef on my sandwich and it turned my bread a pinkish/reddish color in some spots and it had some reddish pinkish juice on my cheese and I was just wondering if it was just the juice from the roast beef or was it like...someone's blood on there?

I am 19 years old and I suffer from hypochondria and a phobia of HIV. I am worried that this red stuff is blood from someone infected with HIV and that now I have it.

Is there something to worry with?

My friend was recently in a car accident and has broken her neck and fractured her skull. She is currently in a coma right now and her sister was the one driving the car so she is in emotional trauma with minimal injury (cuts and bruises). How do I help them and deal with the impact it has had on me? anyone had a loved one in the hospital, how did you deal with it?

i had a really bad time last time a had a sedative , i think i am allergic, and i am due a colonscopy soon as i have ulcerative coltis , and i said i didnt want a sedative but the doctor was very reluctant to let me have one with sedation , i was just wondering could you have one without a sedative ?
