So tonight I was talking to a friend who has a severe form of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome....and she saw the way that my joints are, and how "flexible" I am and how strechy my skin is. So she commented on the possibility of me being a hypermobile.
I went to the HMS website and got 9/9 on the beighton[sp?] test.
[that consisted of me seeing if I could extend my elbows and knees beyond what was considered normal, pulling my fingers back, touching the floor with my palms [without bending my knees], etc...]
5 out of 7 days of the week, I experience joint pain [in my back, knees, fingers]
I just told my aunt [who is a nurse] about it, and she shrugged it off saying "All the women in our family can do that".
Which is funny because It's HEREDITARY.

so...any doctors out there that can confirm or dismiss my suspicions?
what should I do?

So yeah. In my french class Jacy told me his mom had a talk with him and his mom said that herpes gives you warts. And I though... dosent herpes just gives you marks on your face or genitile areas? Or dose it give you a wart as well.

And by the way, I asked him dosent it just gives you marks? And he said it gives you warts.

Do I have to avoid all furniture from a household that had a cat or can I just vacuum the sofa throughly to remove the cat dander? If I just sit near my daughter after she has held a cat, I have a reaction. I don't even have to see the cat.

Ok so, I went to the doctors back in June, when this problem first started, and he said that I dont have herpes. He said its just some rash. But recently I just started to get a bump and a scab type thing on my penis? But the thing is, its not what herpes looks like? Ive also had a reaction to detergent lately and it caused my whole body to itch, so im not sure if that could be a part of it? Ughhh. What do you guys think?

Try to be short with this. I was diagnosed in June 2002 that i had Pulmonary Fibrosis and that i would need a double lung transplant. At this time i went on portable oxygen tanks to help me breathe. Feb 2003 i was transplanted for the lungs. March 27 i was released from the hospital. June 1 2003 i went back to work. From that date on i have had numerouse problems freom the transplant as well as other organ damage because of the medicines. I have chronic kidney failure which according to all my doctors is whats causing all the other ailments i am having because my kidneys arent working like they should. They have cause me to have neuropathy in my hands and feet but i am NOT eligible for a kidney transplant because the doctors say my lungs wont hold up for any type of major suregery, plus they have stated that there is no way they will re-transplant me at all because my body is basically torn up from the meds i am taking. ANYWAY i am currently still working for the fed govt but i have to go out this year on med disability because there is no way i can now perform my job because of my lungs and kidney and heart disease. What i want to know is: do i or did i qualify for ANY type of disability from any agency during that time frame. I am still considered to be disabled according to the doctors because of the health problems now, plus i use oxygen again as a result of my lungs failing again, this time its called "broncholitis obliterans" and there is no cure for it except the transplant that i cant have. I was told by some outsiders that i still would or should be qualified for some form of social security from the very first day until now june 2002 until present even though i still work. One of my wifes co-workers had a kidney transplant and the ssa recognized it and they pay her TODAY a monthly check and she is working full time. They told me that lungs were not recognized in the medicare or social security guides or rules. Now am i entitled to any thing at all while i am still working...THANKS...Tony

He read in a health manual that it could mean that a liver problem was excreting too much bile and causing that dark colour.
Is that correct?

i am a 19 year old girl and i think i have a minor alergy to alcohol. for example when i drink beer my whole mouth including my tongue and throat go numb and i feel intoxicated when i havent had that much to drink after only 1 or 2 beer, also the next morning i will have stomache cramps and be constantly in the bathroom but not like a hangover because no headaches or nausea, and not enough alcohol consumed for a hangover. where as i can drink as much vodka as i want without having this effect and it takes me much more alcohol to get drunk.

do you think the numbness and cramps mean a minor allergy to alcohol?

I have a relative who has been hospitalized a dozen times during the past four months. Throwing up bile continuously. Numerous tests. No answers. They have lost 50 pounds and can't eat. The doctors keep wanting to do more tests, but they can't because of the throwing up. They have no gall bladder, stones, cancer, growths, ect... My relative is giving up. Anybody know of anyone who has gone through this?
