Did you lose consciousness? Do you feel faint / can't walk right? Are you seeing double or is your vision affected? Are you bleeding all over the place now? Are you vomiting?

If you answered "no" to all of these questions, then you're probbaly fine. Sit down and put an ice pack to your head for a little bit and have a friend keep an eye on you until you're feeling better.

By the way--my sister had a concussion and all they did for her was give her a cold pack, two Tylenol, and "kept an eye on her" in the ER.

Do you want to puke? Do you feel dizzy? Soar throat? If yes to ANY question - there is a chance of brain concussion - get to the doctor IMMIDEATELY!!! If those symptoms get worse - call an ambulance.
Anyway - I suggest, that you go to the doctor.

It's bad enough if you were knocked unconscious, it's very painful, you're dizzy and/or bleeding badly. If overall, you feel okay, then you should have nothing to really worry about.

It depends if your head is bleeding and then how bad, if you start to feel extremely drowsy in the next few hours, and if your vision is blurred, and also what you hit your head on.

I would go immediately. A head injury can rapidly deteriorate, leaving you in bad shape, with a subdural hematoma, or worse.
