I have been on the Weight Watchers plan for nearly 3 years but in the last two years despite concentrated efforts I have been unsuccessful at losing any weight. In fact, I have nearly put on everything I lost during the first year (63 pounds). I have experienced menstrual irregularities and non-diabetic hypoglycemia along with the weight gain. I have exercised 5 days a week, maintained the points values that are expected for my weight, and still managed to gain weight. Does anyone have any ideas about what could possibly be causing this? I tell my doctor but he and my gynecologist both say that if I'd lose weight the symptoms would go away. It's very frustrating because I have been doing everything I'm supposed to do and it's not working.

my good friend has an eating disorder. She was prescribed Anexsia for another physical pain. She said since being on the medication, she no longer has the urge to purge, or binge and feels totally normal again, and eats normal! Could this become a treatment for the eating disorder she has had for 7 years?

My skin is very dry and rough. It itches violently especially while going to bed at night. It disturbs my sleep and I must scratch my skin for relief. If I scratch the place of itching changes to some other place and this is a continuous process on all days. The same is the problem with my scalp. Kindly suggest me what to do to get rid of this suffering.

For about 2weeks, I have been unable to swallow meat or any textured food. Only can eat mushed foods. Sounds weird, but it's true. I feel like I'm starving myself, because I'm hungry, but when I eat I can't swallow. I have tried and if I can swallow I feel like I'm choking on the food or something is left in my throat, like a lump. But only when I eat. Drinking is fine, just eating. I also have a lot of phlegm and spit constantly throughout the day. Any ideas what this could be?

So in the past 4 and a haft weeks i have been suffering from panic attacks and anxiety Symptoms lightheaded,shortness of breath, unreality, and heart pains, arm pains like i having a heart attack. and like a band around my head, and dry mouth, hand numb,shaking etc.....So of coarse with all these symptom's i went to the doctors 10 got a neurological test twice A+ got blood taken from my wrist to check oxygen got 3 blood test and 2 ecgs and paps physical ears check and also chest xrays last week so yesterday night in bed my left arm started to hurt hand felt numb and heart hurt a little now i have asma but that scared can i die from that and can someone please tell me if i am dying or is it in my head and what about the shortness of breath can i stop breathing i have allergies don't eat right or sleep right someone help me I'm 20 years old and now one to talk to P.S. my hand feels numb like tingling but heart doesn't hurt only a little i don't know ifs it cause im sceard

I often find myself having "minor black-outs". My sight goes completely black and I get really dizzy. Most of the time I have to steady myself so I don't fall, but I have fallen a few times. Lots of times it occurs when I get up from sitting or lying down. Is this normal? Does anyone know why this happens?

When I was younger I had nighmares where a Vampire, monster, or demon would chase me. When he caught me he would rake my back with his nails. The feeling is similar to drinking something cold when a nerve is exposed or being electrocuted, except it would run down my entire middle to lower back, and on both sides, like fingernails. When I woke from the dream I would be paralyzed while the spasms continued into a very awake state. Yes, I was being physically and sexually abused when they started but I have experienced them as an adult enough to know the raking of my back is not a dream. As a result of this trauma, I have a very bad back that began to ail me, dramatically, in my early 20's. The last time it happened was a few months ago. I could "see" him, he raked my back again. From dream state into wake state. I told him I was a child of God and he went away, but barely. The next night, upon counsel, I told him I was covered in Jesus Blood and he ran fast. What is going on?

I was driving down th eorad when i had an spisode where I was dizzy and lightheaded. i got my self to the side of the road and then tried to use my left arm. It would not move. All this continued for a few minutes, then the dizziness and lighthead went away. I have a slight headache and I can use my arm, but there is a tingling numbness now in the fingers. I am not sure what to do. I also have hard tiome for a while coming up with names for objects. I new what it was and i knew the name but it took me a while to come up with what the name. I sat on a curling iron about 4 days ago, I didnt think it was that bad so started treating it at home. It didnt look so good this is the way it looked almost the size of half of my palm. Its very pinkish like my skin had been burnt off. Theres a little bit of blood kind of seeping out from under the flesh. I was concerned after 2 days so i went to the er. They said it is a deep second degree. They gave me some anti bacteria cream and some guaze to put on it. And told me to see a doctor in a couple days for a follow up. I wont see a doctor till 3 more days what I''m wondering is whether to keep applying the cream on it. Since i feel like all the cream is doing is fighting bacteria but not helping it heal. Should i apply neosporin? Would that help since this is a really deep burn i dont think aloe jell is going to help since I've tried that also. Any suggestions of advice before i see a doctor?
