I often find myself having "minor black-outs". My sight goes completely black and I get really dizzy. Most of the time I have to steady myself so I don't fall, but I have fallen a few times. Lots of times it occurs when I get up from sitting or lying down. Is this normal? Does anyone know why this happens?

Hopefully you are drinking lots of water asit could be dehydration, but it sounds more like you really need to pop along to the doctor and have a good check up, those symptoms are associated with a few things that need follow up. please go to the doctor!
Hugs feel better soon!

This could be a few things.
1. Vertigo - what is your blood pressure like? Do you feel nauseous as well with the dizzy spells? Does it feel like the room or your surroundings are spinning?
2. Low blood pressure in general? Try upping salt intake if this is the case and drink plenty of water to compensate. - but don't up your salt if you already have high levels of salt in your blood
3. Depending on how old you are it COULD be the start of Menieres Disease but this is usually accompanied with loss of hearing usually only in one ear, tinnitus(ringing in the ear)
Don't stress out too much Menieres Disease is something that can happen later in life usually in the early to mid 40's but not to everyone.
Vertigo and low BP usually go hand in hand and can be treated with a tablet called serc

are you getting enough calories? girls on diets are prone to faint. Your blood pressure probably drops when your vision goes out. Do you drink plenty of fluids? Also you could be anemic, pregnant, lots of possible reasons, but the only answer on here is to go to the Dr. Best wishes.

This could be anything from blood pressure problems to a brain tumor! You need to get into the doctor ASAP!! But, please don't panic as it sounds more like you blood pressure is out of whack. Only your Dr can determine this and you need to make an emergency appointment with him for this.
I wish you the best.

You're having a flashback. This is caused by your former abuse of LSD, and should be appreciated. It's free.

If you fall down again, Doctors recommend buying a Clapper. Tie it to your medical Alert Bracelet and start complaining about your back.
