as i am in my late 30's only(?), my doctor is puzzled that i being younger to exhibit symptoms of the disease...am the youngest in the brood of 5 and the only one in the family to have it (or any cancer for that matter)..the rest of my siblings will follow suit w/ colonoscopy soon...any of them may be positive w/c worries me more...please help me clarify this notion medical people or not...thank you...

My dad has cancer in his lymph node in the neck. After having a pet scan, the doctors said there were a few hot spots in his lungs which could mean metastatic lung cancer - or it could be scarring from a previous lung infection he had many years ago. Anyway, the actual question is - recently, we discovered a couple of small lumps (approx 5) a few on his back/shoulders and one on the other side of his neck. They look a bit like small boils, except with no head..and they are quite hard, and obviously sore if you push on them. I can't find anywhere on the internet if they could be cancer...can anyone help? Thanks

Any thoughts to help me feel better about this. I know its not curable and it can be treated. I always have an abnormal pap smear. also, men dont really have to worry about HPV and there is no male test for it.

I just had a baby a few month ago and I also have a toddler and a 9 year old. After I had this last baby I noticed that my memory isn't as good as it used to be. I am struggling with lack of sleep and rest, but, even though I feel sleepy most of the day, I still think I should be able to remember the simple things. For example, I start talking on the phone and suddenly I forget what I was going to say. I forget names, phone numbers and such. I've never been this way. What can I do? Did somebody else have this problem? Maybe because of the kids, the sleepless nights??? Should I take medication? Any natural treatments I could try? HELP!

Theres like this rash lookin thing between my boobs.
Its REALLY red and itches alot.

Everytime I smell someone smoking, I get a sore throat, a headache, itchy watery eyes, break out in hives, and I get really really drowsy. I've actually been unconscious twice for 16 hours from being in a smoke filled room.

I've been near the tobacco plant itself and it rubbed against my skin and I developed a rash from it that lasted a good three days. The rash was only in the spot where the plant had rubbed against my arm.

Yet I have read online that it isnt possible to be allergic to tobacco. I clearly have something here.

I am also allergic to mold, grass pollen, and I am suspectible to hay fever.

I had heart oplation five years ago for svt. It has now come back along with ectpoic heartbeats. I am struggling on the medication and even though it is controling the svt i am still struggling with milder ectpoic heart beats. Tightness of the chest and closing of the throat are all now symptoms i am now having. When ever i go to the doctors my ecg is coming back normal as the attacks have ceased. Is there anyone eles out there that could help me information on these things as after 10 years i am ready to trade myself in.

I went to the emergency room tonight because it felt like my heart was beating so hard, sort of like it was going to beat right out of my chest. I have a long history of PAT also. I have a burning sensation in my right arm. I am taking medication but sometimes it helps and other times has no effect. I was sitting in that waiting room for close to 4 hours, without being seen, so I got so fed up I left and went home. I plan on going to a different hospital if I feel any worse, but I was wondering if you could tell me what it means when your heart is pounding really hard and there's a burning sensation in your right arm. I am eighteen years old. I've been getting (for lack of a better descripstion) chest spasm for the last year. They are usually quick, sharp pains through the upper chest and leave within minutes. During my last month of school, one day they became much more. I could hardly breathe, I nearly collapsed, my chest was tightenting and the pain was shooting through my chest without any pause. For some odd reason, the nurse measure my blood pressure. It was 145/118. I didn't know anything about blood pressure, but an hour later when she sent me to class, a teacher asked what she'd done and expressed concern over the numbers.

Since then, it hasn't gotten that bad. I still get the chest spasms, but they're like they were to begin with. I'm wondering if I should go to a doctor, though.
