My husband just saw the Dr. and he said he heard a swooshing sound with his stethascope...in my husbands lower left abdoman. He didn't think it was heart related cause it IS so low. He called it bruits and ordered him to have an ultrasound done. What could it be they are looking for? I am worried as he is also. Can someone please tell us something it might be that may be minor. Or is this very serious? Dr. checked him before and he never heard this. What could it be? And what will they have to do? What can an ultrasound show in this case? Thank you for any information you may have. He has nothing to indicate any problem. It was a routine check up.....He had not been sick or anything. Wouldn't there be signs of a problem if there were one?

welll i had yeas tinfection for like 2 weeks..... im avirgin....... i got it after my period....... well im not itching around my vigina but my clit is itcy and kinda sore............ (no discharge)....

I have a really big problem with water retention especially in my ankles and feet. It's lasted for several years but I had a period of time when it disappeared. But now it's back again and it makes my ankles and feet so ugly that I can never wear skirts and dresses. Sometimes it even hurts. I've been to my doctor but she didn't know what to do except to give my diuretics and they don't really make a difference. I am being treated for low metabolism, can that have something to do with it? I drink lots of water and my diet is lowsodium. I appreciate your answer!

My father has been complaining of an Upset stomach, the "feeling" that his time is coming, and his stomach is consistantly hard (he thinks he has a tumor in his stomach). I am really concerned. Are there any known kidney diseases that causes all of these symptoms? I know my father has a kidney disorder/disease where if he gets too emotionally upset that the villi or the little things on his kidneys to pop. I have no Idea what to do. I am forcing him to see a doctor but he is stubborn and seems to think that he is going to die tonight or really soon. I am so scared plz help.

I just found out that my ex asked a girl out while we were going out.He wouldnt sleep with me because he has hpv and wanted me to get the shots before we slept together.So what did he want with this other girl?Would he of slept with her and not told her about his std?Does he just care about me and not random girls?Is it just an ego thing to see if he can get other girls?Please help I feel so played and just trying to figure out his actions.

not all the time but every once in a wihle me and my girlfriend have sex i get a burning or irritating problem in my penis. I cure it by sitting in a tub for about a half hour and then im fine. I think it is just friction or irritation but i would like to know if it could be something worst. I am not a sexually active person I have only been with two people my whole life I am 20 years old. My ex girl friend and my fiance are the only two women i have been with my whole life. I have mild eczema, but when I'm stressed (like lately, no job, very little food, and having trouble finding a place to live, I'm -very- stressed), I have severe eczema that causes my back to start bleeding excessively, often effects my chest and neck, and then moves to my arms. But it has never gotten so bad it traveled to my genitalia! Now, I have badly bleeding skin all around the labia majora and minora, perineum and around the anus. It hurts far worse than my back ever did (even when I could not wear a shirt at all, because my skin would break out at the least bit of rubbing)!

What can I do about this? I'm afraid to use lotions down there (I don't use prescription stuff, because I don't usually have this severe of eczema...I typically use stuff that has cocoa and/or shea butter in it, and also have a deep hydrating lotion that helps pretty well) because of the high sensitivity of the crotch region.

Any suggestions??

Been there-done that.I have 5 balloon an stents -and have heart failure-l had heart attack 3 years ago-I am on ALL medication I am allowed- .My ankles are swollen from on plane journey ,- really sore and tight -I have taken extra asprin is there anything else that will help take swelling down'?. I have had this type of pain last December a few times, it was a pressure type of pain, that went down my left arm, but it went away. I have gotten it here and there since then, but the last couple of days I have gotten it again and now it seems worse.
I couldn't sleep last night because of it, and because I was really worried too. I described it as someone squeezing my heart, but not so bad that I felt I needed to be rushed to the emergency room. My family thinks it may be gas, but this has been on and off like I said, and I don't think that's what it is. I know I should call my Dr. and I will, but I'm just seeing what other's thought. Two weeks ago I was in the Dr office and he said my heart rate was 116 which was high for me. Anyone have any advice for me? I'm 32, 5'2 and I weigh around 135.

I don't have acne at all on my face. :]
The only place where it's at is..
Right under my neck, near the top of my stomach.
ON my stomach/abdominal area. It's really embarassing and disgusting for other people to see. But I like swimming shirtless, lately I've only been swimming with those swimshirt things on and I don't really like it.

I'll admit in the past I've popped some and realized the damage of scarring I've caused to myself..

I still have some appearing, what do I do to get rid of them?
It's just so embarrasing, AND ALSO, I've got a little more appearing on the back of my arm/shoulders/back.. :/

about 6 months ago i guess, i was scratching my head and notices a lump on the very center of the top-back region of my head. it isnt the bump that everyone has at the back of the head where the neck and skull meet, its higher up.

i didn't pay it any mind at the time, i thought that maybe it had always been there. but i couldnt really recall.

recently my uncle had something similar removed from his head at the front region and it ocurred to me that i might have the same thing. it was a benign cyst and it was simply a growth of some sort, nothing harmful.

im thinking that i have the same thing, but im just wondering if anyone else has or has had anything similar to this.

p.s.: there no pain or anything like that, no discoloration, scarring, etc. just a lump under my skin.
