Why are the relative zones of inhibition for different antibiotics NOT the same?

in other words:
how can polymyxin B be considered sensitive [susceptible] when producing a zone of 12 mm, but gentamycin is concidered resistant when producing a zone of 12 mm?

interesting question, i think you would also have to count the colonies growing in these zones and probably the resistant drug has more colonies than the susceptiable one, good luck
