Trying to understand guys?
I just found out that my ex asked a girl out while we were going out.He wouldnt sleep with me because he has hpv and wanted me to get the shots before we slept together.So what did he want with this other girl?Would he of slept with her and not told her about his std?Does he just care about me and not random girls?Is it just an ego thing to see if he can get other girls?Please help I feel so played and just trying to figure out his actions.

Well he did the right thing by telling you before you had sex. If you do meet the criteria for getting the HPV vaccine do it! Could save your life. Having cervical cancer is horrid! My sister had it due to HPV and her unfaithful husband and she will never be the same. He should tell all potential partners that he has it if he indeed does. You should be happy you are rid of him if he just tells some people he has it. What makes the girl he cheated on you with worth less than you! He should have to tell anyone. He shouldn't takes peoples lives into his own hands so he can have sex when he feels like it. So count your lucky stars he is gone and go find a decent person! He doesn't deserve you.... or any person for that matter.

Many, many women have HPV and don't develop cervical cancer. You should definitely keep in close contact with your OB Gyn and probably be getting a pap smear once a year at the least and better yet, every six months. Your OB Gyn should be fully aware you have the HPV. Many times, the virus just absorbed into the body and doesn't cause any genital warts or cervical cancer. It's the same virus strain as a regular old wart if you can believe that!

I think he is a dog and there is a reason why he is an EX boyfriend now. Don't worry about him, he, unfortunately did play you but you are better for it now. You know he's a POS.
I do think he would of slept with her if she hadn't told him that she had HPV.
Also, the shot is good to take but it does NOT stop you from getting HPV. It blocks you from getting the most dangerous strains of HPV (there are hundreds of strains) that can cause cancer. I would go to the doctor to just get checked out, just in case he was unfaitful to you (which it does sound like he was).

Forget trying to understand guys, way too hard. Know this though, he did the right thing by not sleeping with you, I hope you got the shots. You don't need someone in your life that disrespects you by asking someone else out while you were together... what a jerk. be happy and healthy and find yourself a nice guy. He has played you , probably many before and after you will have been played by him too. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
