My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. I heard that only women in their 40s can have breast cancer, is this true?
I'm 18.

I went jet-skiing and camping over the weekend and now my lips are peeling and windburned i think. Any ways to soothe them and make them back to normal? I've been putting on chapstick, vaseline, and lipgloss that has oil/beeswax in it and I think its helping....

I just started working at a new place as of last Tuesday, I worked half the day, no work on Wed & Thursday all day, at the end of that day I came home with a sore throat and my sinuses were getting irritated. By Friday it was getting worse and by Saturday I broke down and bought over the counter meds to help. They are but I don't like taking Tylenol as much as I have to help with headaches. I am sitting under the high powered AC, the filters are visibly dirty & I have called to have them cleaned but that won't happen until Friday. This building is an old Termite extermination building. I am noticing that they only things besides Tylenol cold & sinus meds is cold packs on my sinuses. I do that & I am all better, I walk in here & I begin to sneeze uncontrollably. Help I love this job but I cannot live on sinus meds!!!

I sprayed some Lamisil on my balls because I have jock itch and they lit up like wild fire. Is it supposed to burn like that? I figured it hurt because it was working, killing the fugus. I swear it made my balls feel "hotter than a hard on in a Hore House!!!!!"

i was prescribed toprol xl 25mg for palpitations related to anxiety my dr said he wants me to take it for a month then we will see how i am if its not fine then hes going to send me to a different cardiologist .over the last few months at my local hospital before i had insurance i had several ekgs, chest xray, echocardiogram, and heart stress test and everything came back fine..my question is i read that if the med is suddenly stopped it could worsen your condition or even cause heart attack..should i be worried about stopping it after a month considering im 21 male and my heart is supposivly healthy and its a low dosage.

Situation:
About three weeks ago my mother (who was in an extended-care facility) began showing signs of dementia and stopped eating.

She was placed in the facility because of degenerative disk disease.

On Friday she was taken to the hospital via ambulance due to her mental state (she no longer comprehends anything we say)and extreme weakness.

An MRI was performed on Monday and the neruologist diagnosed hydrocephalus. He stated that:

Without surgery she would only live a couple of months.
The existing brain damage is likely perminant
Due to her physical shape the surgery will be extremely risky
With or without the surgery she will likely have to have a feeding tube

Researching the condition on the Internet I noticed that the web-sites geared towards laymen tend to be more upmbeat but the references geared towards doctors indicate that the prognosis is grim.

Does anybody know what the 'real world' success rate for theis surgery is?

I refuse to use it, because I can't tolerate aspirin very well. But one of my wife's co-workers told her that she and her family have been using it to treat stomachaches for years and that it works great.

Anyone here still use Alka Seltzer? From what I understand, it was very popular during the 1950s and 1960s, but it isn't used much anymore.

I am 28, and have a few hard masses in my breast. The doc said that I have a lot of tissue and lympnodes & they don't see anything cancerous (good thing) but then said I should maybe see a breast surgeon. Why?
Also does having alot of lympnodes or tissue affect anything?
