My great grandma who has had several heart problems and low blood pressure has been having trouble lately. WE found out she has a block in her heart. Her husband had the same thing and had a pacemaker put in and the doctor told us if we did not bring him to the hospital, he would have died. There is NO way my grandma can make it through surgery she is just too weak. Her blood pressure is as low as my grandpa's was when they said he would have died. Is there any other options for my grandma or is she going to die? She is 89 years old.

I'm taking Zyrtec and Patanol and they really don't cover my allergies that well, and I won't be in one place long enough in the next 5 years to have allergy shots. I saw Sabadil which is a homeopathic allergy medicine made by the makers of Oscillococcinum (Boiron) and I was wondering if it was an effective and safe supplement to what I'm already taking.

Here are the ingredients:
Allium cepa 5C HPUS - Relieves runny nose associated with allergies
Ambrosia artemisiaefolia 5C HPUS - Relieves spasmodic cough associated with hay fever
Histaminum hydrochloricum 9C HPUS - Relieves symptoms of allergic conditions
Euphrasia officinalis 5C HPUS - Relieves burning, irritated eyes
Sabadilla 5C HPUS - Relieves sneezing associated with allergies
Solidago virgaurea 5C HPUS - Relieves abundant nasal discharge

This has been an ongoing problem for 2-3 years. My stomach almost always hurts and I always look like I am really pregnant-super bloated. It sucks. Sometimes I will be in severe pain, sometimes just a little; sometimes it hurts before I eat, sometimes after; evey once in awhile there is no pain, but still major bloating. No matter what I eat & drink or don't eat & drink-nothing helps. I have been to a million doctors & had even more tests done & no one can tell me what's wrong. They say it's stress-no; IBS-no, acid reflux-no. I do not have any food allergies or ulcers, etc. I have searched tons of health websites, etc-nothing. I'm tired of looking pregnant, epecially when I had a flat stomach & tired of being in pain 24/7. I have taken so many pills and none worked.

UNLIKE what you hear in the media canola oil is NOT good and promotes INFLAMATION in the arteries as does trans fatty acids

The Anti Coronary Club 1966, ONE OF 18 randomized clinical dietary intervention trials to date found that patients randomized to canola oil had 9 deaths from coronary heart disease, (despite lowering their cholesterol by 23 mg/dl lower than animal fat crowd) compared to none in the animal fat crowd.

Are yuou aware of this????

The Women';s Health Initiative 2006 was the latest one of the 18 NONE of which show any support at all to the anti cholesterol paradigm

In a party election broadcast by the Scottish Christian Party for the elections to Holyrood on May 3rd, the following statement was made:

"Teenagers who have an abortion are up to 800% more likely to develop breast cancer later in life"

Is this statement true and if so, where is the documentary evidence to back this statement up. Please state when answering whether you are pro abortion / Roe v Wade, anti abortion / Row v Wade or undecided.

For a while now, something strange started happening to me. It happened to me before, a few years ago, but it stopped. And now it started again. I don't know actually what this is... It's strange... When outside is getting darker, I start feeling.. bad... I can't breath, I feel sick... I feel troubled... and I really have no reasons! And that freaks me out! I don't know why this happens. I thought of some explanations, but the only possible one is... panic attack... I don't know... I heard something about them, but... I don't know... I don't think it's a panic attack, because, from what I know, a person feels worse when she/he has a panic attack. Plus, I don't know any reasons for why I should have this "panic attacks". So can you help me, please? If you know what this could be about, can you tell me how I can get rid of it? Please!

First of all I'm only 21 years old, so I'm really not sure it can be heart attack.

Almost about two weeks ago I was in a car crash. At that time, my chest, back and left shoulder was hurting the most. Last night my chest was hurting really bad. When I breath in it hurt and it also made my left shoulder hurt. I was in so much pain. As of right now, just my left shoulder hurt. Please help.

I recently finished radiation therapy to the brain for a small cell tumor (5cm/5cm, left hemisphere) and I wish to fight it w/ other options as well.

Will vitamins reduce to effectiveness of the radiation delivered to my brain?

What about anti-oxidants like Flaxseed, grapeseed extract, selenium(which I'm told is a particularly potent free radical scavenger), and others?

What about Taurine and Colostrum which are said to be respectively protective of the brain and promote healing? Would those lessen the effects of the radiation treatment?

I keep getting differring responses from my oncologist, radiotherapist, neurosurgeon and my pharmacist!! Very confusing.

Any help, answers or suggestions will be greatly appreciated! S/he who takes the time and energy to help as much as possible will be rewarded with a "best answer" rating and my everlasting gratitude! I know it isn't much, but it's all I have to give.

Thanks a lot, everyone!

Steve

I have talked to people who did it and they said it was just horrible. Made them sicker than before. But I have probably had this for 30 ys or so, that's when I was doing the kind of stupid things that bring on Hep c. So far, I have not felt, "sick." But now I do. I am tired all the time, I have no appetite whatsoever, etc... I am not wanting to be scolded please, just advice. Thank You
