Yes a slipped disc can be cured. You should ask your doctor if there is a clinic that does vax d. This is a treatment to where they slowly stretch your spine (takes several visits) until the slipped disc popps back into place again.

The medicines your doctor prescribed are generally for pain associated with your slipped disc and you should also be on an inflammatory medicine to help reduce the swelling of the tissues around the slipped disc.

You should do no heavy lifting, jumping or running until your disc is back into place again. Anything that jolts your spine will cause a lot more pain as far as your slipped disc is concerned.

Hope this helps :-)

Slip Disc? I did not think that 'term' was used anymore? I have/had a bulging disc, started off with an annoying pain and then agony when it bulged further and aggravated the nerve roots. Then I think it split and split some more. I am 48 have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriasis so they started me on pain patches and Pilates. I am now doing Aqua Jogging and the buoyancy in the water is assisting.
