Right under my eyes... darker in color than rest of my face. I know something is wrong with this excessive sleeping pattern without the strength all day. What kind of doctor should I see if I decide to find out the cause of it? I am thinking of depression.

i am in my early 20's. for the past five years i have been experiencing something strange with my heart. sometimes when i do any physical activity, such as raking leaves, all of a sudden my heart will start pounding really hard and fast, then i will get lightheaded and feel some pressure on my chest. if i stop what i am doing and lay down it will go away quickly and then i will be fine. This does not occur too often but i was just wondering if i should be concerned. also when i give blood or have blood taken, immediatley i will have the same sympoms and i actually have passed out before when i have had blood drawn. i dont know if those things could be connected somehow.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and cannot remove them. There are no children in my house, and I don't have grandchildren or any other children visiting. Why do I have to put up with this? Nanny state gone mad?

I've seen questions here asking if there are diseases that can cause someone to have a blood alcohol content. Most people said, "no," but there were a couple answers that suggested either a blood yeast infection or a form of diabetes could produce in the blood a level of alcohol or something that mimics it. What I want to know is if it's possible for these diseases to register a blood alcohol content that's 3-4x the legal limit.

There is someone important to me who has had a problem with drinking in the past. I went to see her in the hospital recently. She thought she had pneumonia, but the only thing tests revealed was a BAC of almost .38! She swears up & down that she hasn't had a lick of liquor in almost a month, but the doctors & nurses say the only way to get a BAC that high is to drink excessively. I'm desperate to believe her, but I just can't trust her. What do you say?

My father, who is a cancer patient, was diagnosed with Legionnaire's disease yesterday. Is there any way the plastic Brita pitcher we keep in our fridge can harbor the bacteria? We have never sterilized the pitcher, and we don't have any humidifiers, pools, or standing water.

MR imaging of the brain reveals evidence of focal parenchymal lesion in the right posterior parietal region in the subcortical white matter. T1 weighted axial images shows a pin head sized nodular hypointensity with an isointense margin.FLAIR axial coronal images show signal attenuation in the lesion suggesting its cystic nature. No vasogenic oedema seen around lesion.
My 8 yr old neighbour is having this problem. Would be grateful if anyone throws light on the nature of this condition and possible treatment options.

After I have a nice, hot shower, I get these lil hives all over my body, mostly on my chest, back, and stomach. It looks like I showered with mosquitos! I thought that it could be a reaction to the soap I was using, so I changed brands... several times. This has been going on for a few years at least, and I doubt I'm the only one with this problem.

The rash, which look like bug bites, always appears after a shower. I'm not sure if it appears after swimming as I haven't really checked.

What causes these hives? Chemicals in the water?

I've been eating a lot of carrots lately. I usually carry a bag of carrot sticks in my purse for when I get hungry. Beats buying the candy bar. My friend told me that carrots turn your skin orange. I sorta don't believe her but I was just wondering if it was true

I've been told my blood pressure is naturally low (usually about 90/58) but it regularly falls below this and i get faint and dizzy. My consultant has told me to eat plenty of salt, drink lots and go for walks. This doesn't seem particularly helpful. I also have Crohns disease, anaemia and crohns-related arthritis.
