Big Congratulations! I had my last cigarette in January 3rd - but I won't say I quit until it's been a year, since I have quit so many times before.
First, your mind should clear and you sould feel less anxiety about cravings after the first week. You should also begin to feel physically better in many ways. You will still be coughing up a little garbage in the morning to clear your lungs - maybe for a year or more. Still, you should really feel pretty normal after a month or two. If you can remember what normal was!

what do you consider normal? Physically, the toxins are out of your system within one month, if you are using nicotine replacement therapy, you begin to taper after a month. But the craving? Honey I quit six years ago, and a day doesn't go by that I don't want one. I've just gotten used to doing without.

God, don't you miss it....
the full rich flavor...
the feeling your body gets as you inhale...
the relief you feel as you light up a smoke after a long day or a big meal...
MMM....smoking....yay!
