My mom wants to wait and take me to the doctor tomorrow, but I don't know... I don't have a fever and I'm not nauseated... at least not yet, but I do have the a constant need to urinate, lower back pain and a burning sensation during urination.

I am a diabetic that cannot get coverage because of pre-existing. I have high blood pressure and I am out of my medication. I need money to go to a doctor but I need to get blood test for the diabetes. I make just above minmum wage and my state doesn't help with medical unless your a child or you are pregnant. Soon I will be out of the other medications that I need. I can get help with medications but cannot afford to go to the doctor for all my needs. I have over 100,000.00 in medicaal bills in just 1 year alone and I miss work because I get sick because I am out of medication. I know I am not the only person going through this but people like me that have to continue on this road die sooner then they shoud!!!

I already went to the doctor. She listened to heart and didnt hear anything strange. I took an EKG and the technician said "sort of normal" and mentioned "early beat". I wont get the results from cardiologist until tomorrow. I still have the question. How do I rid myself of this condition???

So, since my ex girlfriend was diagnosed with HPV, the high risk type that causes cervical cancer, I probably have it too. I cant be 100% sure since there is no test for hpv for males, but in terms of future relationships, I have one consolation.

When I tell any potential future partner that I am more than likely an HPV carrier, I can tell her to get vaccinated with Gardasil.

Would it then be safe for her to have sex with me ? Can we have sex without her becoming HPV positive ?

How about booster shots ? I hear gardasil is for females 9 to 26 yrs old. What happens if she gets vaccinated at 25 and then 4 yrs later she needs a booster shot ut she is 29! ?!?

Very confused here.

PS. By the way, thanks a lot to ALLI, for helping me and so many others with their HPV related questions.

I have a pretty serious staph infection that Ive had for some time now, and the current specialist I am seeing only puts me on the same antibiotics and its not getting rid of it. Ive had several people tell me that I should just go to the hosiptal and have an antibiotics through an IV, but when I have mentioned that to my doctor, she shruggs it off. Not to mention that for the past few months I havent been able to get an appointment with this doctor, or any other infectious disease doctor in my area, Ive been on my health care providers website to find a physician and Im having no luck. I have done a lot of research online about staph infections and its starting to freak me out... PLEASE HELP.

I had two high risk encounters within 25 days of each other (5/4/04 & 5/29/04) with the same person and I tested for HIV on August 10th (to cover the first encounter & I tested 73 days after the last encounter- 5/29/04) and it came back negative. Would I need another test for the last encounter & if I would, what would you think the results would be?

When I was younger I had surgery and they put a muscal relaxer on me. I ended up being on a temporary respirator for five hours I was told I was allergic to the medication. But I do not know the name it started with a C...I maybe just spelling it wrong but I think I was told I had a Collin deficensy...NOT COLON. I just got back fromt he campus docter and they said I had tonsillitis...My tonsils are huge and there is a biump one that i guess they said was bleeding, it's hurts so badly 2 swallow but i keep having to cause the bump is hitting my gag reflex. I currently have a temperture of 101.6

I have a test on wednesday and i really want to 2 get batter soon. the docter said it could turn into strep or mono.

I need to study with others is it safe for them?

Not that I want too at all but do u think if i get someone they would get it?

I made out with a boy with a relitivly new lip ring could that have caused it?

First off, I will say I am under the care of my PCP and awaiting the results of an Echo. I am 31, male, not overweight, cholestoral is good, but blood pressure is borderline high, and family history of heart conditions. I will describe what I experience....

It only happens when I am doing something active like playing catch with my kids, playing football, or just anything active. I will have a little episode where my heart starts pounding super fast and my chest hurts, I get a little short of breath, and my eyes start to get black in my peripheral vison and it closes in like I will pass out.....I just kind of ignore it and walk it off with my arms above my head and take deep breaths until it goes away, which is usually only a minute or two at the most.......this has actually been going on for about 10 years and I just finally told my doctor and my wife. Like I said I am still waiting on the official word from my doc. Its been 1 week since my echo and no word......any thoughts?
