I already went to the doctor. She listened to heart and didnt hear anything strange. I took an EKG and the technician said "sort of normal" and mentioned "early beat". I wont get the results from cardiologist until tomorrow. I still have the question. How do I rid myself of this condition???

my friend is suffering from palpitations too, at the moment - a fit, healthy 29 year old. she also had a scan and apparently there's nothing wrong with her heart either. she read in a magazine a few days later that palpitations can be a result of a magnesium deficiency, so she bought a supplement and has felt marvellous ever since! worth a shot....you never know! it's amazing how many ailments are down to diet, really. hope this helps x

Well, first off, palpitations aren't a disease per se, they're a symptom, and can mean many things, so the way to get rid of them is to first find out what is causing them and then treat that. I haven't seen your EKG, so it's very difficult to guess what your particular problem is, and your cardiologist will do a much better job than I will from here, so the first step is seeing him and talking about what's going on and what (if anything) needs to be done.
It sounds like, based only on what you told me though, that you have a relatively benign condition that will not require treatment, but only your doctor who knows your history and has had a chance to see your EKG (though it may not be helpful if you weren't having the palpitations during the EKG) can give you really useful information.

It isn't easy but it can be done. Relaxation is the biggest key. When you find your heart is beating hard you start to panic which in turn makes matters worse. I ask my doc for Zanex and take only on an onset of rapid heartbeat and only a half of one works everytime Breathing exercises work well also

Try a chelated Magnesium supplement. Also investigate Coenzyme Q-10 and Hawthorn Berry Extract.

Do you suffer from anxiety? If so, do your best to get that under control.
