Of course yes. Jaundice is a symptom (like you have cough when you have chest infection) of an underlying cause. Hence, you treat the underlying cause, jaundice will disappear. All the causes however may not be treatable. So, it really depends on what caused jaundice.

Yes depending on the cause. Obviously if the cause is liver cancer the only cure would be a liver transplant. The majority of liver illnesses are reversible so the secondary jaundice would also be reversible

If the liver condition can be treated effectively then jaundice will be resolved. In the case of newborns with immature livers that develop jaundice they are placed under ultraviolet lights to break down the biliruben so then the jaundice is resolved for them.

Need more information but here is what I know, for starters. My son was born with it and we were able to get rid of it by keeping him in the sun as much as possible. IT took 3 whole months and lost of PKU tests (the one where they poke baby in the foot) (2x per week) but we finally beat it. Not sure about anyone older than new born babies but that is what I went through. Sun light plays a moajor part in getting rid of it in small children and it worked for my son. Good luck!
