Those would be pin worms.

They are quite common in children and are spread VERY easily. They are harmless so they pose no threat beyond irritating and grose. You can go to the local pharmacist and get medicine for it without seeing a doctor.

I highly doubt it is a tapeworm. Those tend to be quite large. pin worms are just little white worms about the size of a grain of rice.

As I said, they are spread easily. It could be of no fault of your own. Someone who didn't wash their hands that has it touches a door knob, you touch it and eat something or touch your mouth, there you go, you have it. It's like getting lice, it's hard to prevent but easy to solve.

Tincture of black walnut in your drinking water might work.. Get some from a health food store. Add about 12 - 15 drops in your drinking water. Also tell you folks and others in the house as they may be infected as well.

Not as uncommon as you might think. Yes, embarassing, but after a month, no one will remember.

Calm down....you have pin worms. go to the drug store and the pharmaciest can tell you what to take and to do.. you will have to wash your sheets in hot water every day until the 10 treatment is over. everyone that lives in the house with you will also have to take the meds. Good Luck.....

You have to take medicine and only the doctor can tell you which one. That usually is because you don't wash your hands before eating, or you ate un cooked meat, i'm not sure, but it has to do with being not clean. Go to the doctor.....

It sounds like pinworms; common in children. Tell your mom. There's a pill for that, it will kill it fairly quickly. Make sure you wash your hands well after going to the bathroom so you don't re-infect yourself. Don't panic, it's gross, but common. Good luck.
