I also have been urinating alot,My father has type 2 diabetes,his mother had diabetes as well. Could this be linked. Should I just wait awhile before running to doc? 25 female,XoXo thanks!

This is actually a hypothetical question not meant for me, but for my drummer's wife. Our band is doing well, and could play as much as we would want to, but the drummer's wife is allergic to cigarette smoke, can't come out to the shows, and complains to him about the time he spends without her. All the other wives come to the shows, enjoy the hell out of it, except the drummer's wife. We would all be so much happier if she could come out and be comfortable with the rest of us, so I'm looking for suggestions.

Hi. My dad has been Dx'ed with Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. He is in his late sixties and has Chronic lymphatic leukemia which is currently in "remission". He has been coughing badly for a year. The DR finally gave him a sputum test that revealed this. He has been put on Cipro.

The literature on the net is quite confusing and very technical.

Should my dad with a compromised immune system have a series of sputum tests to reveal any other bugs in his lungs? Should he be on septrim (Sp?) instead of cipro???

What is his prognosis? His CLL is in remission although he has diabetes and takes insulin for it. He also takes medication for a heart problem.

What is the best way to treat this weird "bug"???

Please answer and give me detailed info as I am very worried about this and do not have many answers to work with.

This morning I woke up with an itchy welt on the back of my leg. It's about two or three times the size of a mosquito bite, so I know it's not that. It has no puss and it's not scabby, nor does it burn. It's just red and it itches. Could it be some sort of spider bite? What over the counter creme would anyone suggest?

i had a severe sunburn on the 4th of july...it peeled and went away...2 weeks later i started with the intense itch.nothing helps.i have my kids scratch my back with a hair brush its so bad. my cousin said the same thing happened to her after getting a bad burn from the tanning booth...her doctor said there is nothing to do ,that the itch is nerve endings growing back. did anyone ever hear of that? any suggestions for me? thank you

My friend four weeks ago decided to take a hiv test, because her mother keep on threaten her to infect her, she decided to have a test she didn't see if they used a clean needle or a sterilized one, she hasnt had sex or done drugs she's 18 years of age

Hello...my name is ioana...I am 22 years old.
So I have a problem with chest pain...the problem started 3-4 months ado when I hade some stomac problems...I went to the doctor and he said that MAYBE I have poisen food...after that I started to have chest pain...back pain...now after all that months I am still having chest pain...back pain...left arm pain...I went to a doctor 5 days ago...he did an EKG...he said i do not have heart promblems and he give to me some acid medication (aciphex) but he also said that if in about 2 weeks the pain is still there that I should go to one other doctor becouse MAYBE I have some ribs problems...that is not so comforting...after 5 day of medication the pain is still there and I am scared...maybe I have somthing with my heart....somebody please give me some ideas.

Today my skin broke out in rash, all over my body. It started with like heat spots that would merge together and it was as though a big patch of skin that had swollen up. My skin's all blotchy. It's everywhere, and that's no exaguration -elbows, thighs, knees, wrists, chest, back, neck, underarms, face, stomach an i'm assuming scalp as i keep getting the need to itch!
My skin feels like it's on fire. My wrists have swollen up.

Its around 24 degrees, my friend and family suggested it was due to heat. could be an allergic reaction, but i cant think o anything. My sister had something like this, but on a much milder scale, much milder, she takes tablets which helps, so i took one her tablets today, her skin gets blotchy around her back about twice a month.
when my sister went to the doctor, he didnt have a clue what to do, so i don't see the point of me going.

Any advice?

A side question, what are hives, why do they happen, and what do they luk like?

Im quite fed up with my constant cough, and nasty bullshit i cough up. mostly during the morning, but also after a meal, or lots of water, i will cough of dark greenish phlegm. I notice it sits at the back of my throat and causes my throat to hurt as well, until i get it all coughed out. a re-coccuring proccess it seems. I have been to the doctor before, dont sputum cultures, and gram stains or whatever, and came out inconclusive, or nothing at all. one test came up with bacillus avium i think it was, and he said it was a fluke. I actually find the more i smoke, the less i see the ****, but im sure its just hiding. either way smoke or no smoke its here, and annoying.

ive told my story as well as i can i think, and would like someone to give out some answers. from doctors or not, experience with similar matters may hold the answer for me as well. PLEASE let me know if you have any answers, besides "seek a physician".

I had protected sex wit a elderly women around 7 to 8 week , i dont know that whether she is infected but i used my hands to lubricat my Pen*s and used the same hand to wash my pen*s after removing the condem.
