My daughter has scoliosis of the back and it has been suggested that she has steel rods put into her back to straighten it. Could people who has perviously had this operation please let me know how this back surgery has changed their lives.

Has anyone seen a decrease in myopia in one eye, from - 3.00 to - 2.25 in three weeks, in a 58 years old man? The vision is still 20/20. What could be the problem? There is no other complaint...He is having a retina hemorrhage in the other eye.

Hello, My mom has stepped on a rusty nail half a year ago, she does not know how deep it went. The wound was washed and treated with some anti-bacteria medicine by my dad. Now about a year later she has pain in the foot and says it feels like the pain in the bone. She also does not remember if that was the foot that she steped on or not, so my question is what could be causing the pain if it is the foot that got punctured or not. And if the nail has nothing to do with this what other things might have caused it, is it common, is it treatable? There was no pain for a half a year, but for the past month it has not left. She is afraid to go see the doctor, so any input on the situation will be appriciated. Thank you.

my parents won't take me to a doctor, i practice controlled breathing, i try to avoid dairy products, i breathe through my nose and out through my mouth and every day it seems like it is getting worse, not to mention that my quick use inhalor isn't very effective, and my steroid inhalor doesn't seem to be working either.

i'm only 23 but i'm very suspicious that i have high blood pressure because i seem to have the symptoms... neck, shoulder and backache, headache, and a feeling of nausea.
what would be the best way to deal with this condition before it gets worse. does my sleeping habit and the fact that i'm in front of the computer most of the time have anything to do with it?

okay i have penumonia. late march i got really sick. like severely and i went to the doctor and they diagnosed it pneumonia. they gave me a website where i could find more information about it and it said that if you have recovered, but then suffer of a relapse, that the relapse will be more serious than the first time you got sick. how could it get any worse if i was already experiencing severe symptoms?
