Has anyone seen a decrease in myopia in one eye, from - 3.00 to - 2.25 in three weeks, in a 58 years old man? The vision is still 20/20. What could be the problem? There is no other complaint...He is having a retina hemorrhage in the other eye.

I heard this happens when a cataract is developing but not sure it could be this quick...also in sm cases of astigmatism, they may have an unstable power and can often vary in a range of 0.25-1 between various examinations. Urgent ophthalmology referral needed if u ask me

It would make sense for him to be a diabetic whose blood sugar was more controlled for the lower refractive error finding. Diabetetic retinopathy would also explain the hemorrhage in the fellow eye.
There is not much else that causes fluctuating vision (especially this dramatic) besides diabetes.

Hi there,
I'm following a system to improve my vision with simple eye exercises. I found it on this site http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=413. I'm starting seeing very positive (and unexpected) results.
It's the best choice.
Cheers.

the one eye is going to fail.
the other eye is getting ready to make up for it.

it is a case of one's body adapting to what's happening!
