I have tendonitis in my rt arn and have had a carpal tunnel release on my right hand.

Carpal tunnel release? is that surgery? then its probably an infection. Get on it right away Infections can kill

This happens to me sometimes also. I don't know why. I don't have tendonitis or carpal tunnel issues. I wish I knew what causes mine. Maybe a fungus or reaction to an environmental allergen. That's been my guess all these years. I just put ice on mine for a while and sooner or later it goes away.

This is wierd because I had a friend whom had the same problem but check this out.... well before I say, don't take this wrong it might not be.As a matter of fact it would be a 10000-1 chance.
She had gotton herpes and her hand was doing the same thing but she had it in her mouth and other places. Not only did she have herpes but she was allergic to them. I know thats a far fetch diagnosis but the way you asked was the same way she did to me. The other thing I had in mind was some sort of blood related issue. Go to the doctors and if your not satisfied with their answer then by all means get a second and third opinion from someone thats in the doctor field.

Could be poor circulation.
