Forget the Vitamin as apparently the mozzies have now become wise to this (bit like citronella) eat lots of marmite, this definately works but don't ask me how.
Another one is to have the basilicus plant growing somewhere.
Believe me I have tried everything.
One other thing that works is to use "Raid coils" and burn them inside your living room or bedroom, they last up to 6hours and until the mozzies get wise to these they are working.
Good luck, you have my deapest sympathy.

Never heard of a vitamin that mozzies don't like. Vitamin B1 (Thiamin) has that reputation, but trust me, it doesn't work. Garlic's good, though. Eat it and rub it on yer skin. Make sure everybody else in the company does, too, or you'll be so lonely you'll even miss the mozzies LOL And it's still no guarantee that you won't be bitten.
Diesel oil is great, too, but the side-effects aren't very nice.
If you are the mozzie's fave target, I'd recommend any mild anti-histamine = the stuff you use for allergies. Ask a pharmacist or a doctor. Won't stop the little buggers from biting you, but you will hardly notice they did.

I live in spain and get bitten all the time, they say it is the type of blood you have, some blood gives off a certain smell which the mozzies love (I must have it).. The locals say lots of garlic helps, either raw or in tablet form as it changes the smell of your blood to one that the mozzies hate. It has not worked for me. Aunan mozzie spray seems to stop them biting, also there are loads of things on the market to sooth the bite if the repellant does not work. If you get a bad sting, rub an ice cube on it to soothe the itch. Hope this helps.

I have tried everything. Some suggested it was B12 as found in Marmite. some suggested garlic but that was too smelly. In Turkey they use a thing called lemon water that smells very nice but repels mosquitoes. The only thing I have found was large amounts of Jack Daniels. However this makes one smell like a tramp in a doorway.
If you do get bit...Dactakort or Betnovate..any steroid cream will stop the reaction. Then it matters not a jot when you do get bitten.

No but I can tell you what to use on your skin to keep them at bay.
Avon Skin So Soft Body Lotion in Soft&fresh (Previously called Woodland fresh).
It's the only thing that works people abroad (even in Cuba) swear by it and if you look on any holiday review websites it will say the same.
My Mum is also an avon lady and she sells sooo much of it in the summer. my neighbour asked her for 10 bottles the other day coz she sends them to her family in Spain.
Honestly it beats Mozzie creams as they have become immune to them by now.
And it's a bargain.
Try it you won't go back!

You can try spraying yourself with a solution of Citronella oil and water, mozzies hate the smell of it!
And in the colonial days in India they drank plenty of Gin and Tonic, tonic contains Quinine which prevents mozzie bites and malaria

B1 (thiamin). I use it for midges but you need 28 days on it before it works and you need to take 2000mg per day. I reswearched this and your body gets rid of the excess but dont do it too long.
Also you can take a lot of garlic in tablet form.
