I dont think so. Humans themselves are the most deadly virus on this planet. Tit for Tat.

This question to me is an oxymoron. I believe we as humans are the disease. The earth is a living organism and we are the virus that eats away at the blood (oil) and strip her of her resources. We cannot stop this destruction for we need these resources to survive. We can only slow the process down and hopefully leave something for the future. Could you imagine if the world was free of disease and illness? In my opinion, if you created a medicine that would abolish the common cold, then pharmaceutical companies would ban together and either pay you off, or get rid of you. It is big business. It would be the same as to ask "Do you think that we will ever grow wings and fly?" It is impossible to say, but not in our lifetime. Maybe someday, but then someday, there will be no humans on earth. We will die out like the many civilizations that have disappeared mysteriously in the past.

Sorry, but until we get rid of every animail and sterilize EVERYTHING, I doubt humans will ever be disease free. There is definatly a chance of less disease but as long as we are interacting with animals and each others, I doubt it. And we shouldnt kill all the animals, Im just sayin.

Humans never will be if you are talking about diseases including viruses as well. Both of these can evolve to there surroundings.
Thats why each year there is a new strand of flu going around, these things will always be here and will constantly evolve.

Its definitely not! Diseases are caused by any pathogens (bacteria, virus, protozoan, etc). Even if we sterilize all of our surroundings, i guess we will not achieve that goal. Viruses have the capability to mutate remember?!
