Dental - August 2006

I have some bad teeth, and I need help please. How can I whiten my teeth and reverse damage, and yes I do brush daily. Also, how much do braces cost and is there any way to reverse the damage for cheaper than braces, for a canine tooth protruding from the top left of my mouth, in front of the other teeth? Thanks!

this happens often to someone i know. they will be falling asleep, and then their jaw will clack shut, sometimes repeatedly. this person knows they do this, and it hurts their jaw the next day if it happens a lot during the night. i have just been nudging them gently and reminding them to not bite, but this is not a solution. anyone know how to deal with this?

I just got my braces a couple of week so that may be why but all of a sudden my teeth r really sensitive! Everytime I drink something cold I get these shooting pains in 1 or 2 of my teeth. They last 4 about 20-30 seconds sometimes!! I've heard that happens 2 some people say that's what happens when they have 2 have a root canal=(

I've got cavities in my teeth and my dentist says he can't do normal fillings in them and he was talking about inlays and onlays and I don't know what he's talking about.

Why can't he do fillings in my teeth? And what are inlays and onlays anyway and what happens if I need them?

Ok, I would really like dentists only to answer this question or if you havehad the same problem as me. I have a tooth and it hurts at random moments, not after eating anything at all, it just hurts with a small amount of pain for about 3 seconds. There is not hole or discoloration, and it is the back one next to the molar (not a wisdom tooth). It is not sensitive to heat/cold/sweets, or any food. Can either someone who has had this problem answer this or someone who has/had the same problem as me? Please? I asked this question like 3 times now and havent found a god answer. So I will try until I get a good answer. Thanks =)

i have a mouth ulcer in the part of my gums between the front bottom teeth and bottom lip (right at the bottom where theres a tiny skin that sticks up) , very sensitive area!
when i apply bonjela the pain is unbearable is that meant to be the case? it lasts for about 5 mins and then makes my mouth feel as if its all stuck together and stiff.

I am having braces on now, and i am moving to singapore for study next month. I need to know what's the procedure to get a routine check up for my braces and the price for the treatment.

Can I just come to a dentist there or should I bring some letter from my previous dentist?

I had some dental work done and paid off all balances right at the dentist office. The staement showed a balance of $0.
I just received a bill from the dentist, six month after that work was done, claiming that I owe them money, and that the bill is past due. Even though this is the first letter I received from them!
I moved out of state 2 months ago and also changed insurance since I have a new employer. Can they still come after me?

I had my 4 wisdom teeth pulled and and i got my period the day before the surgery but now i have been having symptoms of pregnancy. Also i didnt quite get my period this month i spotted for 3 days so i am a little nervious. So i want to know what is the risk of the baby NOT only because of the X-Rays but also cuz of the novicane and after care pills. Any input would help until i test myself tomorrow! Thanks

I have what looks like a blister near my tooth. My tooth broke a few months ago but I have not had the money to go and get it looked at. There is something that resembles a blister. Anyway. I accidentally rubbed it with another tooth and it started bleeding? I have a gause pad on it for now to stop the bleeding. Is this a blister? Or is it just irritated from the broken part of the tooth rubbing against the gum?
