If you had an adult tooth pulled, uh there isn't going to be another one come in.
Okay, if it wasn't an adult one, are you sure that there is an adult tooth in the bone?

You may have to have your tooth retrieved. My daughter had a tooth that woudn't come in so the surgeon put a bracket on the tooth and a chain. The chain was attached to the braces and was tightened at each visit until the tooth came in. It sounds more painful than it was and it is done all the time.

I had an adult tooth that took an entire year to grow in because it was so far under the gum. If you're really concerned ask your dentist about it

If you are an adult and lost all your childhood teeth, and the one that you got pulled was an adult tooth, thrn you are not supposed to have another tooth coming in.

I had 2 of my baby teeth pulled out because my adult teeth was in danger of growing crooked. It took like half a year for them to finally grow. But, on a good side, I never had to deal with braces later.

if the tooth was deciduous, the dentist most likely took an xray to see where the adult tooth is...if there was none...the tooth should not have been extracted...some adults still have deciduous teeth.
