There are many dental braces out there, that you can get to wear on your teeth during the night to stop damage done to your teeth while gnashing them in your sleep, and will likely help their teeth to feel better in the morning. All that I can reccomend, since I'm not a dentist, is to have them go see a real dentist and tell them about the problem. I hope that I helped!

Go to the dentist and get an NTI splint made. It's a small device that you put in between your front teeth at night (or whenever you sleep). It stops the grinding and the soreness that comes with it. They run $200 and up but it is worth it if it is a chronic problem.

Anxiety is usually the underlying cause of teeth-grinding. A night guard will help with the symptom, but addressing the psychological cause may be the only way to make the grinding stop.

they may need a mouth piece so that when the jaw shuts it lands on something softer than the teeth, you can get them at the store in the toothpaste aisle for about $10 - 20

mouth guard. I went to the doctor after I chipped three teeth in my sleep. He gave me this mouth guard that makes me drool just a bit, but I can handle drool over losing my teeth any day.

See a doctor, or just buy a mouth guard. It's a side effect of stress and fatigue.

get a mouth guard..mine has worked wonders! Your dentist will be able to provide the proper fit, even tho the price is a bit higher then the ones at your local Walmart. (mine was $129, 4 years ago; I live in the midwest, so prices may vary in other areas.)

good luck to you!

Get a night guard from your dentist - about $300 or go to Target and get one $14. Follow directions, enjoy.

(located near the toothbrushes and toothpaste)

Get a mouth gaurd or mouth peice also called mouth spacer. You can get cheap ones at king soopers or vitamin cottage or any store that has toothbrushes really. But you may also want to recommend that they go their dentist and their dentist can make one that will be specific to their mouth and recommend things that would individually help.

Tell them to stop thinking of a "nightbiscuit" and stop chewing in their dreams.

If that doesn't work, tell them to get a night guard.
