Actually, do NOT run and grab your toothbrush after every time you drink soda. The acid in the soda makes them more susceptible to toothbrush abrasion for a while, like 30-60 minutes or so. Rinsing vigorously with plain water is better than brushing after drinking soda.
I don't know if this really makes much difference, but I've heard that some people let a lot of the bubbles go out of the soda before they drink it. They feel that this gets rid of a lot of the acid content, but I can't verify it. You can do the research and then tell us about it.

Worry, worry, worry. Honestly it never does any part of your body any good. Did you know that it is a scientific fact that what your thinking directly affects your body. If you think negative about things, it weakens your immune system. If you think positive about things your immune system is boosted. If do something good for someone your immune system gets stronger. If you do something negative toward someone it weakens your immune system. The main reason people have decay, disease and sickness has mostly to do with their inner thinking environment and their actions because actions affect your inner environment too weather we like it or not. Honest to God this is scientific fact! It is not as well known as it should be that is for sure. Check this out if you don't believe me I challenge you all to do so!!! Have you ever heard that stress is the leading cause of all disease? Well that is the consensus of medical Doctors beliefs in the world! What causes stress. Mostly your own thoughts and behaviours of how you deal with things in the outer world. Drink some pop if you want to. Brush your teeth at least 2 or 3 times a day and floss every few days at least. Your teeth will not rot if you take care of them and you are overall going in positive directions as much as you can in your thoughts and actions. No need to worry about it.

Brush your teeth afterwards, dont let the soda touch your teeth for too long, and try to drink a soda that has no or a small amount of sugar.

Changing 2 diet sodas is the best answer. If you have to drink regular soda-just make sure you don't sip regular soda all day long. The sugar in reg soda is what hurts your teeth so if you sip it slowly all day long then you have sugar that stays on your teeth all day long.

You can drink soda without rotting your teeth so long as you do so in moderation and make sure not to do it right before bed. If you do drink soda before bed, make sure to brush your teeth. I suppose that you could also get into the habit of chewing a sugar-free gum with xylitol, without gets rid of plaque in the mouth.
