so i had crowns put in which looked false so i had them taken out and now there is just a gap, and i remember the dentist telling me at the time that if you had these removed, i wont be able to have anymore crowns or false teeth. so now there is just a gap in my front lower teeth and im just wondering if anything can be done? plus someone told me that my other teeth will come loose and fall out, is this true? and ive heard soon that scientist will be able to 'grow ' new teeth, how true is this and how far off is this? does anyone no anything about this and the details? this gap is really winding me up sometimes and its right at the front to, but i no i cant have any more crowns in, and from the way they looked last time i wouldnt want to

I have protruding front teeth. I just had my veneers done on my front two teeth and my root canal was removed advised by my dentist in order to reconstruct the outlook w venneers to have a "straighten" look. Its called Instant Braces. Its been almost 2 months and i have this "sour" feeling when i accidentally knock my teeth into somethings. e.g. cup..

1. will the "sour" feeling go away completely? is it a sign that my root canal is not removed properly?

2. Is it unnecessary for my dentist to remove the root canal initially? (as i see no point in it at all, my teeth is not pushed in, he merely saw it into half, make it tiny and put the veneers on it.

Please help!

I'm using antispetic listerine and brushing my teeth 3 times a day with floss. Well I just started doing 3 times a day. I was doing 2 times a day. I wasn't really flossing as much as I do now, I think thats the problem. But how long will it take for my gums to go to its regular size. My mother may take me to the dentist to get it checked out. But I always brush, floss, and mouthwash to make sure there is no plaque or tarter anywhere in my mouth to make the gums go down! Please HELP QUICKLY!

I had 3 wisdom teeth extracted on Thursday (one did not need to be extracted since it grew out and helped clear the space of a prev. extrac. tooth). The 2 lowers were impacted and had to be surgically removed and stitched up and I was told that it's normal for some bone to come out that had been supporting to tooth but what I'm feeling doesn't feel like bone, it feels more like a thin wire. Could this be part of the suture(stitch) I'm feeling or is it the bone I was notified about? I would ask the surgeon but his office is closed on the weekend :/ Has anyone else had this happen?

Will drinking soda through a straw help prevent the soda from getting on the majority of your teeth? I have cavities in my front teeth and the dentist and assistants kept asking me how many sodas a day I drank. My teeth looked like I was drinking 2 a day but I actually probably drink like 2 or 3 a week... so will drinking through straws help any you think?
