well coming from someone who has experienced them too often until my mouth and stomach ulcers caused me years ago to go to the hospital and for weeks having a feeding tube doctors first said I was allergic to sulfa and a lot of times they come from several things from foods, and nerves and diseases after several years and several doctors and test I was told that I had behcets disease very rare but up until I found out the cause of mine I found out ulcers are caused by so many things that it is very hard to really pinpoint what or why they happen. But really if you only have a few once and a while log down what you eat or any change in what you do or eat helps a great deal.

My mouth ulcers form when I am worried about something so they are caused by stress.

But I think they can also be caused by diet and other things, sorry I couldn't go into detail there.

But if they are painful like mine then instead of using bongela I just eat ice cubes all day which eases my pain but is also good in the hot weather that we are having.

Hope I could help.

If you're speaking of a stomach ulcer, haven't you heard that science has discovered that it is caused by a virus?

It creates lesions on the stomach lining.
