Someone once told me that if you combine ibuprofen and acetaminophen that the pain relief is the same as Vicoden. Take a dose of ibuprofen, and two hours later a dose of acetaminophen, two hours later ibuprofen, et cetera.

Good luck, and I hope you feel better!

You can take up to 800mg of Ibuprofen three times daily. About
8 hours apart. I would start that however, that is only for inflamation.
So it doesn't always cure the pain. You may even need an antibiotic.
Most dentists have an on-call number. Even though they are
closed you could still call and see if they have an emergency #.
Some do and will see you over the weekend if needed. You
could alternate tylenol with the Ibuprofen. However do not take
more than 4000mg per day. It is toxic to your system and you will
die. Good luck.

My grandmother works with kids with desabilities, ADHD, ADD, etc. She has convinced me in so many ways that medication is not the answer for these kids. Find a ADHD specialist that will work with your daughters behavior and not push medication on her. Also, change her diet. No gluten or sugar. It's amazing what it will do. Is her speech problem caused by her ADHD? If not, have her go to speech therapy. My elementary school realized i had a speech problem and i went to speech therapy and was perfect in less than a year. Good luck.

You can go up to 1800 milligrams of Ibprofun, and it will reduce the swelling as well as the pain.
