How do teeth affect physical conditions? I've heard of people who have become deathly ill and even died just becouse of a tooth. And they were instantly better once the tooth was pulled.

I've tried hydrogen peroxide as mouthwash, I've tried the crest overnight stuff, the mouth trays where you put the gel, etc.. and nothing is working. I've heard the crest strips work, but does anyone know for sure or know something better?

I have a wisdom tooth that needs to come out. I've already scheduled my consultation -- it's a little over a week away. The tooth is decaying and has been aching constantly. Does anyone have any advice on any kind of over the counter medicine or home remedy that will dull the pain?

Thanks!

The other day I had some popcorn and of course a piece got stuck between my teeth. I ask a co-worker "Do you have any floss?" and she says, "Do you mean dental floss?" I was stunned. What other kind of floss is there? I got three more responses just like that. Do they think I am asking for butt floss or what? Anyway, know what I just said, how would you answer the question?

I use dental floss several times a day. I can't stand to have something stuck between my teeth. My question is can a person actually floss too much? My teeth are in good shape and so are my gums. My dentist is happy. Should I cut back? Is there any downside to being a "floss-aholic?"

i'm a teen and woke up this morning and now I'm feelling pain in my right side of my jaw when i open my mouth, if I lean or move my jaw to the left, opening my mouth is fine, but to the right, it starts to hurt and wont open fully. I researched it a little and read some scary stuff, just really wondering how to fix this problem, and want to know if surgery is needed in this... happened once before but was after i ate a bunch of sunflowers seed at night, woke up it was fine, I'm just curious now because its my second time this happened and after researching it, i'm scared something is really wrong, and scared it might lead to surgery, someone help please

A week ago I had one of my large lower back teeth removed. Although I have had little trouble since, I find that bits of food keep going into the resulting hole! Does this hole close up over time?

OK I brush my teeth twice everyday, I floss everyother day. But I still have cavities appearing on some of my teeth. What is the problem. I have tried to minimize drinking sodas, coffee ,teas. I raraly eat anything sweet, but still cavities keep appearing. How can I stop that. And what is the best way to get rid of them once you got them, I hate dentist appointment but I dont think there is any other way to get rid of them, if you know how let me know. Any info appreciated.
