Cauz of a medical mistake, when I was a kid, I lost the root of one of my teeth(the root or the bone that supports the tooth in the gum) Anyone did bone implant? Any hints tips and advices ? thanks

I guess the problems can be, the bone may not solidify/ become thick enough to put an implant in. The Gum may end up looking noticably different.

Sometimes the gum and bone shrinks back (even when bone regeneration isn't done) and the titanium screw can eventually be seen when you smile.

Other times the titanium implant just doesn't take, especially if it is overloaded with force

My advice would be to go to a specialist who does alot of implants. General dentists can do them but I think that a periodontist (dentist who specializes in gums) will often do the best job of making the gums look good.

I have implants. Maybe you could get an implant to replace the tooth. It must be the whole tooth though and not just the root.
